OT: Mac McClung in transfer portal
Portal is starting to get real crazy, and perhaps the best player in the portal this year has just entered. Odds on favorite is Texas to follow his coach but given the loss of Chaundee and lack of guard experience (which we've seen, leads to deep tourney runs), any chance that we might make a push?

This happens in grad school all the time.
The best player in the portal? Is this sarcasm?
I've never been a huge McClung fan. He's high volume, low efficiency. Honestly there aren't many players left in the portal that I'm really high on and think would fit in well with the current roster construction and the program culture. I was high on Jabri Abdur Rahim but he just committed to UGA
Can’t do anything til Franz breaks his silence
not threadworthy, but Liam Robbins, the 7' from Minnesota, is transferring to Vandy, who also just received commitments from two high 4* last week but lost Scottie Pippen, Jr. to the draft.
No, I think we actually need a bigger guard.
Guy is talented. But he sounds exactly like the sort of "star" Howard doesn't want.
Gawd, NO
pass, which ironically is something he doesn't do enough of.
Not that it's relevant but Juwan could easily check with Hunter & Terrance to find out if Mac would be a good fit. #DMV #AAU
Reading through this thread, I am obviously in the minority.
I would take Mac in a heartbeat. Juwan knows what it takes to succeed in the NBA, and I have the utmost of confidence he could make him into a more efficient player.
He has shown the ability to put up boat loads of points.
Yeah, I would take Marcus Carr over him obviously, but I think Mac could work here.
No thank you.
