Name ONE thing - aside from being tall - that reminds you of Dwight Howard in KD's game?
Bogus, uninformed take!
The previous poster was simply comparing the addition of Dwight Howard's skill/star power to an already fairly loaded Lakers roster. There was no implication that Howard and KD are similar players whatsoever.
At some point you do have to wonder if there will be disagreements, with that many stars on the team, about who the offense should flow through. One of those guys is going to get pushed down the totem pole, and it may, MAY, lead to chemistry issues.
But hey, if that's a bogus take, I'd sure like to see what you can share from your infinite wisdom about what isn't a bogus take.

That's easy Perky - read any and all posts I've made here in the past 7 years for takes that are not bogus. Life, simplified!
Lots and lots of people picked the Lakers to win when they had Kobe, Gasol, Howard and Nash.

That's not how that went. The wings signed a bunch of older guys in the early 2000s.
This is two of the three best players and 4 of the top 12/15 joining forces in their primes.
Gretzky, Lemieux, Roy, Forsberg, Leetch, Borque, Mogilny and on and on.
Most of the top players in the NHL in the 1990s didn't play for the Red Wings.

The 2002 team did have like 10 hall of famers on it. But really only Hasek, Hull, and Robitaille were bought.
The core group... Yzerman, Lidstrom and Fedorov were all drafted by the Wings. They got players like Shanahan (Primeau, Coffey and 1st rd pick), Chelios (Eriksson and two 1st round picks) and Hasek (Kozlov and 1st rd pick) in trades, but it's not like they got them for nothing. The free agents signings of that era were… Krupp, Verbeek, Duchesne, Hull, Robitaille, Olausson, Joseph, Whitney, Hatcher etc. Most of those players were past their prime (including Hull and Robitaille) and not exactly superstars when they got here. If the Wings had signed Lindros or Modano in the mid 90s, then you could compare it to the Durant situation.

And to be fair, recognize that most of the top players in the NBA don't play for the Warriors.
Good, FOKC.
Won't be many tears in Seattle over this.
Mark Cuban's got your back.
By the way, Mark Cuban was one of two people to vote against the relocation to OKC and now will help the Warriors get Durant.

I agree he didn't owe OKC anything, though at the same time had he played a bit better up 3-1 this wouldn't have been an issue.
But he can go wherever he wants. It still is a bad look to basically admit he couldn't win with the elite team he had so he has to play with the team he couldn't beat himself.
almost as bad as ray allen signing with the heat, for less money then the celtics could offer btw.

Look at the way they left. Lebron James with his television special to announce that he was jumping ship. Kevin Durant just left, informing OKC management shortly before posting notice. Free agency is a thing, and I don't understand why Durant is being villified here.
