St. Anger is hard to listen to unless you are watching the DVD of them recording it. Very strange, but I find that I love the album when I watch it, but can't stand it when I listen to it. Maybe Lars (LARS!) put something subliminal in the video?

I've never been a huge fan, but I thought Axl's voice was shot when I saw them 10+ years back. That was when Buckethead was still in the band. I'll go watch them if I'm at a festival that they are playing but I'm not going to pay to see them on tour.

In lieu of pics...She and I became friends after we broke up. I had known that she had dated Axl before me, and then one night when we were drinking she told me the full detailed story on how she had been with him a couple of times after she moved to the US. She knew some people from the Clash and went down to the recording studio for a party and met Axl there and they went out a few times and hung out at his mansion in Malibu.
