"The problems that we’re dealing with at Baylor or have dealt with at Baylor to this point are probably problems at every university in the country,” he said. “I hate to say every one, but I’m guessing most universities are having some of the same issues we’ve had at Baylor. You can make a call as to whether you think Baylor was too strong in the way they dealt with it. Unbelievably, I’ve had people tell me they don’t think they dealt with it strongly enough. But I think going forward, do we want to learn from our past mistakes? We absolutely want to learn from our past mistakes, and we’re doing that.

and then (in your country, anyway) there's still Siberia. Since the NCAA has evolved into a powerless, gutless organization in the years since SMU got the death penalty, it's about time the conferences step up their games and slap some serious penalties ---including banishment--- on schools such as Penn St, Baylor, Tennessee, and any others that not only allow, but then cover up criminal behavior. The penalties levied need to be costly, need to do financial damage to the entire athletic departments, and need to leave a lasting scar, just like it does to the victims of the assaults that are being covered up. SMU never recovered, why shouldn't PSU, BU, and UT risk suffering the same fate.

I can't say I am ever surprised when a university shows that it really has no soul and is just another business. They tell 18-22 yr old kids that taking out upwards of $100,000 sometimes in loans for a political science degree is a good idea. How many times can you do that before your own soul dies? Cant be very many. Its predatory lending at its worst.

The problem is, there is not a single person at Baylor who has both the credibility and the knowledge of what went on to make any believable statement.  Sure there are people who know a piece of the story, but they're not talking.  Neither Grobe, nor the new AD, nor the new president knows anything other than what the BOR told them (and the purposely vague print summary of the Pepper Hamilton report that was released).  The only ones at Baylor who know details from the report are the Board of Regents, and their behavior, their lack of transparency, their doubletalk, their incompetence makes them one of the least credible parts of the whole university (which is saying something). Grobe is clueless and is in no position to determine whether the university has acted strongly enough or not. He's playing the role of useful idiot for Baylor University.

They (Baylor University) are behaving like the tobacco industry. It's like, awe shucks, c'mon folks, everybody has the same goings on at their universities. Why is everybody always picking on us? The Charlie Brown University. That is why this will never go away, women will be treated like this and no one, male or female should ever consider enrolling in that school. Men have a responsibility to stand up and  say "No way! this is prehistoric behavior." Maybe it's because I have a daughter that makes this seem so elementary to me. Reninds me of a guy at work spewing his crap at the time clock about women "driving around with that stupid effing = sign on their bumpers". Things will not change until attitudes do. This, get back in the kitchen ladies just doesn't fly anymore. For crying in the church, its 2016 not 1916 but like I said this will never go away until attitudes like this do.

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail. -
