O.T. - Final round of Players Championship
It's been pretty cool so far with all sorts of story lines: Can Kooch finally win a major, will the ballad of Ricky Fowler continue to be sung, and last but not least can Kevin Na finish let alone win with the swing demons he has to contend with. Kevin alone is a reason to load up on the booze; I can hardly watch him without my eyes bulging and lips pursing. I think his odds of suffering a breakdown are better than his odds of winning but he has been amazing none the less. Zach Johnson is still in it, Curtis is still in it as well as a couple of the Europeans. Heck, Mickelson and others can get in on it if the pressure gets to the leaders. I think it's going to be great golf drama but my money is on Fowler; the kid's a freak.

I root for any of the "Golf Boys"
and it takes you off your game, just ask Watson, Mahan, and Crane. Or the Packers. Fowler is still there, but like I said he's a freak.
And Fowler won last week, and its not like Ben Crane has been playing horribly. His ceiling isn't as high as Watson's or Fowler's anyways. I don't really know what Mahan has been up to though...
Up until this week he was leading in points for the Fedex Cup. He's already won twice this year.
IMO The Players is much more appealing than the PGA Championship.
but just about everybody who's anybody is/was there. It's gonna be some good golf.
If I gambled, I would put my money on Ben Curtis. He was "left for dead" in terms of his place on the food chain until he won and got his tour exemption back a couple of weeks ago.
Curtis doesn't get in position to win all that often, but he seems to be really great at closing the deal the few times he gives himself a chance. Anyway, it's going to be a great day, and, as always, 17 will be the most compelling hole in golf.
Rooting for Kuchar. Will be interesting to see if Na's slow play throws him off his game. Na will collapse.
Na is so brutal to watch. He makes golfing with my 8 year old sister seem like a "quick round".
