Technically that doesn't make the stat wrong...just not relevant. Also, Ohio State sucks.

Technically the above poster never said the stat was wrong, he just said it was a stat fail....which it is because it has nothing to do with anything. Also, Ohio State still sucks.

that is an erroneous belief.

Who did they lose to? They've never lost to another Ohio team, right? Did they lose to Buffalo in 1932 or something like that?

per College Football Data Warehouse, ohio state lost to Akron by a score of 12-6 back in '94. That is, 1894. Lol'ed when I realized it was over a century ago...

I'm not gonna lie. I'm a huge sports fan, I love Michigan football, I watch a ton of college football, and I honestly thought Marshall was still in the MAC :) Now, I hope that doesn't make me as dumb as ESPN, after all, that's their F'IN JOB!

Day in and day out it amazes me how many mistakes an enterprise such as ESPN can make. In their defense they are covering a lot more than just college football, but that is still a terrible excuse. I wouldn't expect a chemist (I have a degree in Chemistry so might be bad analogy) to have no idea what Tungsten is because there are over 100 elements.

agreed. and thats why i come here for my michigan news. i feel bad for the people out there who think that nick sheridan is in a qb battle with freshman denard robinson (as they reported a few days ago)

ESPN, fails so large they almost match Colin Cowherd's ego
