OT: College Football Betting

Any futures and/or early season game bets that you like? Here are some of mine thus far.

College Football Win Totals:

Michigan over 10.5 wins - I rarely bet for/against Michigan. But I think we'll get to 10 wins without issue. Then I don't see us losing to both PSU & OSU, I actually think we finish 12-0. So had to make this bet.

OSU under 10.5 wins - I believe we beat them and think they'll lose at least one more. Their QB and OL situations are the main reasons. Vegas is also skewed a bit towards the under.

Alabama under 10.5 wins - They have 5 ranked teams on their schedule and questions at QB, and Rees as their OC. I think they drop a few games this season. Their total has almost moved to o/u 10 wins as well.

Oklahoma over 9.5 wins - Easy schedule, only Texas and TCU are ranked. I think they fix a lot of their issues from last season.

Kansas State over 8.5 wins - Defending conference champs avoid Oklahoma, also just play Texas and TCU.

Oregon State over 8.5 wins - They were a very good team last year at 10-3 and get a transfer QB from Clemson in DJU. They also avoid USC this season.

Cal under 5 wins.

Vandy over 3.5 wins.

I don't have many game bets placed yet, but I did jump on a few already.

6-point teaser, LSU +3.5 vs FSU & ND +14.5 vs OSU - I think LSU beats FSU even without a few players early. And I just don't think OSU is 15 points better than ND this season.

PSU - 20.5 vs WVU - Word is that WVU is a bit of a mess and I feel like PSU is going to want to run it up.

TCU - 20.5 vs CU - I have no idea what to think of Colorado and I know TCU lost a lot of players including their OC to Clemson. But I just think TCU's momentum from last season along with the chaos in Boulder means an easy TCU cover here.

Iowa vs. Utah State over 33.5 - My theory here is that since Iowa needs to average 25 per game for the OC to save his job that they will run it up against lesser opponents every chance they get. If Cade is actually out then I might be in trouble.

I have placed several NFL bets, mostly involving teasing KC down to a pick 'em in week 1 vs the Lions. I also bet New Orleans to win their weak division.

Let's hear your thoughts, who ya got?

I don’t gamble, so I like to spend my extra money on PBR, golf, and prime rib.

but if I was a gamblin man I’d take the over on Michigan all day

mid also put $50 on the meteor for the ND v anOSU

Waiting on the grid comparing your past W/L betting predictions from trueblueintexas before I decide whether or not to place these wagers.

OSU over 10.5 is probably a good hedge against Michigan over 10.5.  I can easily see us and OSU 11-0 going in to The Game though.

Feels like PSU 9.5 over is very likely (nothing is a lock with injury chances etc). I feel like we know where that program is right now - good enough to handle to bowl caliber and borderline T25 teams on their schedule, but a bit lacking against the elites. Even if they lose both M/OSU games, just need to beat Illinois and Iowa. Every other game will be a 2tD+ spread

Georgia under 11.5 wins and Michigan over 10.5 wins. The last two years I bet Michigan to win the big ten before the season and have hit both years. This year I threw a little on Michigan winning it all. I also like Michigan -1.5 against OSU.
