MGoBlog isn't my site and I don't make the rules, but I think Barstool has generally been watered down to the point where it isn't what it was when that rule was made.

I’ve been a longtime member of this board, a fervent supporter, a fan, a regular contributor and a consistent advocate for MGoBlog. I’m also an employee of Barstool, which accounts for a small percentage of my life compared to how long I’ve been around here. I regularly keep this blog open while working.
Even if I wasn’t gainfully employed, I find the Barstool hate here absurd and hypocritical. You don’t have to like or agree with what is put out, but no one here would stop an ESPN link from being posted, even though they bury sexual allegations deeper than the mob and openly had employees watching porn at work, but you’re okay with them bc their reporting is as vanilla as it gets. I guess the line is drawn when the content hurts or angers or disagrees with what you like but the people haven't done anything wrong.

Pres - helps small businesses, homegrown talent, loves Michigan but wears tight jeans and has said some thing in the past that I can’t stand behind but doesn’t qualify his entire character.
im just tired of it so I’ll say it. I love this blog but I watched Ace Anbender wipe his sorrowful nonsense all over this page for a bunch of donations, thanked nobody and then left in a cloud of smoke. That’s worse to me than anything I’ve seen from Barstool, as a fan or an employee. The jokes don’t always land here but turn the channel. Doesn’t mean you have to openly shit on it just because your sense of humor is Big Bang Theory
