Calling these non-SEC games must be tough for Gary Danielson.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:30 PM ^
He's a hack first. Originally a Big Ten guy. Now he's being paid to promote the Big Ten, so he'll do that.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:39 PM ^
Flies first class, ***** hotels, great seats, solid pay, just for blabbing whatever's on his mind. Kind of like the life of a politician. He'll do whatever the network needs.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:44 PM ^
No doubt, but he's getting up there, and brains become less flexible as time goes on.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:42 PM ^
He knows who signs his paychecks--he'll be just as annoying as a B1G homer as he was doing SEC. He's already done the flip-flop once in his career.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:32 PM ^
All four games I'm streaming are in commercial.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:32 PM ^
McCord picked off
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:32 PM ^
Nice interception, IU.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:33 PM ^
OSU just has absolutely no short yardage/power game.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:35 PM ^
IU moving down the field now
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:36 PM ^
IU holding their own against the buckeyes
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:37 PM ^
Wow going for it
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:37 PM ^
3rd and 5 and they have suspect secondary and you run a option?
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:37 PM ^
I don’t really want to start my own topic, but I was curious about some game day experiences.
It looks like they are not doing every lane south on Ann Arbor - Saline Road to 94. Does anyone know if this is permanent and why? The traffic on Stadium isn’t bad but we are stuck on this road to 94.
Also noticed it took way longer to get through the stadium gates today than it ever has. We have paper tickets and we’re stuck behind every trying to pull their tickets up on their phone with poor internet service. Just standing there waiting for their phones to load to scan in. I wish they would add a paper tickets only line or similar. We got in line at 11:35 on the sidewalk in the southwest corner and didn’t get into the stadium until 12:05. Recency bias may be at play, but I don’t recall standing in front of the Michigan Stadium gate for half an hour to get in before. We ended up just missing ECU’s first series but we thought we’d see quite a bit of pregame.

What's your take on credit cards, etc. Versus cash at the supermarket? Seems like they're similar in time, maybe leaning towards cards in speed? (I know this is probably weird,)
Edit: I've only been to a couple of events where I virtual ticketed and I was worried I'd screw up the ticket (delete it, not have it ready, etc.)
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:52 PM ^
The problem is the internet is poor and people have to stand there and wait for their tickets to load. That’s very different time wise compared to swiping a credit card. Literally all I had to do was scan my paper ticket (more equivalent to a credit card swipe), but instead had to wait for people to load tickets on their phone (pull out cash and get change).
Maybe I am not understanding the analogy correctly though.
I have nothing against electronic ticketing and frequently use it, but people should add it to their Google or Apple wallets first so it doesn’t take 30+seconds for each person to pull it up.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:55 PM ^
No, you got it right. It's just a bad analogy on my part.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:58 PM ^
Ok, fair!
Just would be nice if they really got the message out about adding your tickets to your wallet ahead of time. I don’t know if saving a picture of them works because many require an animation on the screen to avoid just sending tickets to a bunch of people.
Or maybe the dedicated paper lane I mentioned.
I’ve never had issues at this gate but I know it’s busy because the golf course dumps out into it, I may try another gate next game!

Have to admit, Indiana has made some nice upgrades to their stadium. I went there for a game when Antwan Randle-El was their quarterback and it looked like a MAC stadium.
Still small but it looks a little more Big Ten-ish now.
September 2nd, 2023 at 5:12 PM ^
It doesn't even look that small.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:41 PM ^
Damn the one thing about a 4 team split screen, 2 games I don’t care about, 1 game becoming a blow out and the game I want to watch is on commercia!! Love the idea. Just wish you could customize the four teams you want to watch!
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:41 PM ^
OSU run defense looks bad
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:43 PM ^
It's triple option and they've been fine. The OL is the major, major issue.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:45 PM ^
Fine against a one dimensional offense
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:44 PM ^
Ohio State with only 7 points midway through the 2nd qtr against an Indiana team that is…not great, brings a smile to my face.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:45 PM ^
Timeout --> commercial --> field goal --> commercial sequence. Probably more after the kickoff.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:45 PM ^
Not that I want them to, but if they move the Michigan, OSU game earlier in the year, I hope it’s week one.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:48 PM ^
Stuffed!! OSU still soft as charming toilets paper!!
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:55 PM ^
Charming toilet paper! It seduces you while you're wiping your butt.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:57 PM ^
Oh damn, a happy spelling accident!
September 2nd, 2023 at 5:02 PM ^
It was 😊
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:48 PM ^
Ooof, Day's got put in some work. 3-0 with Devin Brown in. And then a great run on the punt.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:48 PM ^
Go Hoosiers!
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:49 PM ^
At this rate, I don’t think OSU is going to enjoy their trip to South Bend.
About time I head over to 11W for a nice laugh.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:49 PM ^
Or Madison or Ann Arbor
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:49 PM ^
God I want to play OSU's offensive line right now.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:52 PM ^
Let's go Hoosiers!
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:53 PM ^
Hire a Big 12 defensive coordinator, expect a Big 12 defensive performance!
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:54 PM ^
Does Danielson have the under in this game? I haven't heard more fervent prayers when the crop's in the field and it hasn't rained for three months.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:55 PM ^
Imo, momentum of OSU at Indiana completely changed when Day elected to go for it on 4th and 2, passing on a fg attempt, and was picked. Road conference games are like gold. Indiana been playing better ever since their 4th down pick, and now its a game.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:56 PM ^
They just cannot handle 3rd and short, just like last year.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:57 PM ^
Tom Allen oof. And now Henderson down and his folks taunt? Sheesh
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:58 PM ^
Indiana sucks ass. You run 4 straight running plays for nothing and then pull that shit! Chompers needs his office cleaned out by the AD during the game.
September 2nd, 2023 at 5:01 PM ^
That’s why he’s at Indiana, just happy to keep it close.
September 2nd, 2023 at 4:58 PM ^
IU not afraid of Ohio State's offense. Hell of a thing.
September 2nd, 2023 at 5:02 PM ^
For what I’ve witnessed there’s no need to be afraid. o line looks soft and out of shape. Qb lottery seems to have flatlined as well.
September 2nd, 2023 at 5:00 PM ^
Great job by the IU coach to bleed the clock only to just go ultra conservative on OSU side of the field and then gives OSU time to score again. The taunting penalty was stupid as hell by the player also.
September 2nd, 2023 at 5:01 PM ^
Wow. Won't ever feel bad for OSU but this is just...sad.
September 2nd, 2023 at 5:01 PM ^
IU is bad offensively but OSU's offense seems really off and I'm not sure they've really figured out their QB position.
Also, Texas is absolutely not getting a push against Rice on the ground, which anyone who watched football last year knew would be the case for the Longhorns and that Bijan Robinson did a good job covering up.
September 2nd, 2023 at 5:01 PM ^
That’s a fucking fumble. Wtf
