OT: $100,000 big ones on the line for beating Ohio
Starting last week, several college basketball coaches are competing to raise the most money for their chosen charities. All you need is a noble heart, a healthy disdain for losing to Ohio at anything and a ESPN account and you can cast a vote that will help Coach John Beilein win $100,000 dollars for donation to the charity of his choice which happens to be The St Louis center. The St. Louis Center is a caring, residential, family living and learning environment providing for the physical emotional, and spiritual needs of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Visit the Coaches' Challenge from this link here:
promo.espn.go.com/espn/contests/infiniti/2012/m/index and vote for Coach Beilein every day through February 27.
The four region winners will then enter the Final Four, which runs through March 8, and the winning coach/charity will be announced March 9. Right now Ohio and Michigan are tied for the lead at 32% apiece and we should all know the travesty that occurred the last time we tied Ohio in something, and for those that have the animosity about November 24, 1973, you know exactly what I am talking about. This may not be redemption for that day but, you still get the joy of beating Ohio at something while contributing to the greater good, and what better way for you to start or end your day.

Didn't we tie Ohio in the early 90s in football?
Great cause though OP.

yes we did but but Michigan had more on the line in the The Game of 1973 I believe with both teams being undefeated and the winner going to the Rose Bowl.

We tied them in 1992. After that game, Gordon Gee (the same one) said "This tie is one of our greatest wins ever!"

What is a big one and why are they so expensive?

Very witty sir but I do hope you click the link and make a contribution to a good cause.

Certainly did. I didn't mean to detract at all from the cause you were pointing out. I spent some time after college working for an NPO that provided support and care for individuals with ID and DD, so this hits home for me. Thanks for posting.
