Only ran 1 of those burn a down no read inside zones and then never again.

Great gameplan, great execution by the OL and Haskins. WRs caught nearly everything thrown their way. Cade rebounded from the INT. Fantastic effort all around.

OL is going to get a ton of deserved credit, but also the WRs/TEs absolutely destroyed the OSU secondary blocking.  Sainristil was taunting them every play too because we were just tougher than them.

297-64, that is all that needs to be said and is my response to all OSU slappys whining about officiating and FB. Hats off to all involved, had them on their heels all day and only one bad possession all game. Good to see smash mouth football can still succeed in today’s a pass happy football environment.

This is obviously the best offense since Harbaugh has been here and maybe longer. It’s really exciting that this is likely the floor for next season with an expectation they’ll be even better.

I still can’t believe that drive to seal it after OSU scored. After OSU converted those 4th and 3rd and long downs, I had bad feelings again. That fucking drive and HH was just amazing. Got the ball and just drubbed them the whole way down the field to seal it. Just amazing. Congrats to everyone.

Flawless offensive performance (except for the INT). Put their foot on Buckeye neck and kept it there.

Bring on Wiscy and Go Blue for a B1G championship!!

In my heart of hearts, I knew that we were going to win, but that to do it we needed our RBs to do a Biakabatuka, collectively. And by the ghosts of Yost, Crisler and Bo, they did...close enough anyway.

Remember all the lamenting about settling for field goals? The last three weeks:

vs. Penn State: 3 TDs 0 FGs

vs. Maryland: 8 TDs 1 FG (1 TD was a defensive TD, however)

vs. Ohio State: 6 TDs 0 FGs

17 TDs 1 FG

2nd half paving by the OL.  1st year line coach losing an NFL-bound OT turned this unit into the best in the league (with help from a smart QB and two of the best RBs in the country).

Near-perfect performance all around.  That first fake-pass-end-around for a TD was *chef's-kiss* brilliant.

Man, tons of respect to those folks who had a better feeling about this game than I did.  O-line and Haskins punched them in the teeth, which I frankly did not see coming.  Corum had some nice runs and Cade was terrific when asked to be.  Watching Haskins slam it down their fricking throats was just indescribably beautiful.

The stat of the game (other than the score) was that OSU had 0 TFLs for 0 yards. Credit Gattis, McNamara, Haskins, and that offensive line.

Interesting.  If you showed me the box score but didn't tell me the point totals, I might have guessed tOSU won.  We had 29 more net yards, and one more first down, but we actually lost time of possession. And, we lost the turnover battle. I think I would have read our yardage without winning TOP as an inability to score from the red zone and as leaving tOSU with too much time, an ability to score quickly, and possibly short fields.

I'm happy that I am such a crappy reader of box scores.  It was one of the most amazing games I have ever watched.  What a season!

Rewatching extended highlights for about the 3rd time, and I think the play that summarizes the game is that run by Haskins to put Michigan up 21-13 early in 2nd half. Haskins rode All into the end zone as they blew through 3 OSU defenders into end zone. Such a strong in your face run, and that was far from the only one. Michigan knew what they wanted to do and executed to near perfection it seemed.

I agree-excellent observation. I know I pointed that play out to my 12 year old grandson-who was cheering his heart out. What a tremendous job of blocking by All-and Haskins to stay right on his tail and ride him all the way to pay-dirt!

Otherwise, the job these assistant coaches are doing is the huge difference-maker here. I give special credit to Mike Hart. The Michigan backs have always run hard-given good effort but this year is special and different. Their decisions in picking holes and reading/setting up blocks is at an elite level. They do not take negative plays and they always get more than appears to be available out of a play. (And the OL play yesterday...well, it won the day!!!) All together, it is/was a thing of beauty.

I do t know how many podcasts I’ve heard this year that have said, “we won’t win anything with an archaic Bo inspired run first offense”….eat crow!!!!!!!!! We beat OSU at their best with our QB having just 19 attempts and 300 yards rushing!!!

this offense was able to stand toe to toe with the vaunted Death Star and threw a haymaker for every OSU haymaker.

The team had a great plan - everyone knew Michigan had to limit OSU possessions. You do that by running the ball. Smash mouth football and then you mix it up with some other plays that throw OSU's defense off.

It was a massive game for the OLine - this felt like Stanford football - strapping on that helmet and daring the defense to stop them on the ground. Haskins was a beast. Crazy how always gained yards after contact.

Great game calling today...just felt like Gattis read that defense and countered everything they tried to do.

The fact OSU had basically no answer to...repeated runs up the middle..was pretty amazing. It's like I took a time machine 15-20 years back. If someone had told me before the season that we'd beat OSU by just running right at them in 4th quarter crunch time, I'd have called them crazy for sure. It almost looked like the OSU linebackers were just tired of it and didn't want to know anymore. Our running game brutalized their will to fight out of them.

Dominating performance today. Dominating. This was old school football with a new school look. Gattis and company had one hell of a plan and the players executed nearly perfectly. The OSU defense had ZERO tackles for a loss today. Zero. Damn fine job!

Almost perfect. Everything I didn't think they could (or would in some cases) they did and did to damn-near perfection.

As much as I've wanted a more open, modern offense there is something special about simply beating an opponent's ass. Especially Ohio State. Just kicking their fn teeth in with run after run feels amazing and for all the NFL WRs, OL and HBs on that roster I think OSU fans secretly yearn for it, too. A lot of their complaints I'm hearing is that the defense is soft and the offense needs to add a bit more power.

You can't love football and hate mauling an opponent to oblivion. Michigan mauled OSU. I still haven't slept, been watching highlights for 15 hours now (not even joking). Proud.
