The guy across the street from me hangs his OSU flag out on Friday afternoons on OSU game weekends...and he'll leave it up all weekend if they win. If they lose, though? He'll take it down pretty damn fast. I just saw it happen -- and I could definitely see his anger from my second story window.

Now...if only OUR team could win that game more than once every 10 years...

But hey. First thing's first. Let's win OUR game tonight, eh?

I kid you not, though: I have lost my mailbox (i.e., had it bashed in/knocked off the post) exactly twice in the 20+ years I have lived in my current Southwest Uh-hia house. In 2003 and 2011, and both on late Saturday night/early Sunday morning following the outcome of a certain...game.

The OSU flag dude across the street I'm actually very friendly with, and there's no way in hell he did that, but...somebody did.

That said? I'd GLADLY replace my mailbox (and every damn November, too!) in exchange for a W.

Anyone else concerned about tonight? Maybe that the Pac 12 is good this year? You got Oregon, Utah, USC, UCLA and Arizona St being top 25. Perhaps Washington is actually a good team that had a horrific game 1?

What a shame. Honestly we’ve seen how that story ends so often that I was pretty certain Osu would find some way to pull it off. But they didnt. And I feel amazing.

I live in Columbus and we heard bomber jets overhead this morning, and it wasn't until later that I realized it was a flyover for the game.

I know OSU football is pretty distasteful to begin with, but... maaaaaybe not a great idea to have airplanes flying near 100000 people on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, you chucklefucks.

Oh I know it's commonplace but this isn't the space to be rational it's the place to vent all our petty hatred of that shithole football program and its inbred fanbase!!

Seriiously though, for my part I didn't connect the B-2s to the game since I had it in my head that it was a 4pm game, so I had a moment of 'wtf is this a 9/11 thing?'  Once I realized that it would've happened around kickoff it made sense and I shrugged.
