It’s a sham shame
September 10th, 2022 at 8:11 PM ^
Boycott shampoo, buy the real poo!!!
September 10th, 2022 at 8:08 PM ^
Dane Key...freshman, yes that Dane Key just made a helluva TD catch for Kentucky.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:10 PM ^
Is their another Dane Key besides this Dane Key that we should know about??
September 10th, 2022 at 8:12 PM ^
Dane Key?
September 10th, 2022 at 8:16 PM ^
THAT Dane Key.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
Ah yes, thanks for the further clarification - that is the Dane Key I was thinking of too!
September 10th, 2022 at 8:18 PM ^
Don Key?
September 10th, 2022 at 8:13 PM ^
Supposed to be memorable?
September 10th, 2022 at 8:09 PM ^
Man, this will be way past my bedtime when over.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:28 PM ^
Dvr, that’s what I’m doing so I can watch with my kids in the morning
September 10th, 2022 at 8:38 PM ^
Me too but tomorrow is Sunday and thank goodness for that. Oh wait, the game will end early Sunday. I'll be ready for Monday.
Go Blue!
September 10th, 2022 at 8:10 PM ^
In the meantime, the Huskers are losing to Georgia Southern.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:14 PM ^
Indeed. Wine and football for the next several hours. Just watched an exciting OT victory for Texas Tech over Houston.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:33 PM ^
Hell yeah
September 10th, 2022 at 8:11 PM ^
Lol Nebraska is losing to Georgia Southern at the end of the 1st quarter.
Edit: And OU is down 3-0 to Kent State.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:13 PM ^
I'm a couple miles south of the stadium. Nice and calm now. I haven't seen any lighting. This is a head scratcher.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:19 PM ^
Same here. Raining is done. Let's roll!
September 10th, 2022 at 8:15 PM ^
Is it possible they call the game for Michigan even if they don't play a down?
September 10th, 2022 at 8:23 PM ^
They are saying 9PM start.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:16 PM ^
These delays freaking help Hawaii, and I don't like it. Every extra second they get to rest up and recover from jet lag jeopardizes our chance to get to the heart of our schedule undefeated!
September 10th, 2022 at 8:19 PM ^
What the hell are you talking about? They can play at 3am and UM is going to pound them.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:38 PM ^
My wife is an English professor, and she says that irony is a lost art. I'm a little out there on the spectrum myself, but how could anyone read that and think I was serious! I guess the internet is like that.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:16 PM ^
The marching band won’t do their pregame show. I have a family friend in the MMB and they’re sitting in Revellli waiting for the weather to get better. But he texted no pregame show planned.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:16 PM ^
Storm should be gone in 30mins
September 10th, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
Perhaps, like the English soccer leagues, they're in a reign delay.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:26 PM ^
+1 for clever and topical. +3 for elitist reference. Leaders and best!
September 10th, 2022 at 8:43 PM ^
You need to post more often. 30-ft swish.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
Fuck the start time. Whats the over/under on lightning being spelled wrong tonight?
September 10th, 2022 at 8:21 PM ^
About 15.5, judging by this thread…
September 10th, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
*litenang
September 10th, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
"lightening" is almost as bad as "defiantly" for definitely.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:31 PM ^
Or "affect" for "effect" and vice versa. Or should I say, "visa versa."
September 10th, 2022 at 8:58 PM ^
Wander instead of wonder. Yes, I live in the south...
September 10th, 2022 at 8:56 PM ^
Lightning is spelled GaSouthern and it just struck in Nebraska again.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:19 PM ^
Piped in music has started, I think they're letting people out of the concourse and back into the Stadium. Again, from my vantage point across the street.
Gates also are open I think?
September 10th, 2022 at 8:19 PM ^
UM football just tweeted a 9pm start time.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:43 PM ^
Are you my dad?
September 10th, 2022 at 8:21 PM ^
Comments on here are hilarious. People thinking 30 minute delay is going to help them recover jet lag. Or, 30 min delay is going to make UofM tired (as if college kids don't stay up till 1am)
September 10th, 2022 at 8:21 PM ^
according to Michigan Athletics twitter , looks like a 9 o clock kickoff
Weather Update: Stadium Gates will open at approximately 8:30 pm. Tonight’s game will start approximately 30 minutes after gate opening
Not sure they can get 100,000 people in the stands in 30 minutes
September 10th, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
They just said over the radio, 9:00 kickoff time.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
I’m pretty sure you mean “100,000.”
I suspect the announced attendance will have no relevance whatsoever to the actual number of fans in the stadium for a game with a 52-point spread that’s been delayed by an hour due to intense rain.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:27 PM ^
Due to lightning, not rain. But yes.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:24 PM ^
Let's see if 100k come back . Hope there's a loud fun crowd. We have a dj. Play rain related songs. Make it fun. Don't be boring.
September 10th, 2022 at 9:00 PM ^
We didn't. After standing outside the locked gates for 45 minutes getting soaked to the skin with no updates, we went home. With cell service being so shitty still you can't get any current information. If you can even hear the public address announcer, they tell you to go wait in your car, even if it's a mile and a half away. Very frustrating.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
So what’s our percentage of night games with weather problems, let’s see..,,,Minnesota that one year with long lighning delay , but we all got to watch OSU get torched by Rondale Moore before hand. Then Michigan State monsoon. That didn’t go well. And don’t forget the Notre Dame beat down in pouring down rain I think in 2017 maybe.
I feel I’m forgetting one.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:23 PM ^
The ND game wasn’t a weather problem. That was absolutely glorious.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:28 PM ^
you forgot Utah.
Kids were very unhappy we stayed.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:32 PM ^
Remember a tough night game against Northwestern (at NW, I believe) 1998. Justin Fargas' highlight as a Wolverine in the pouring rain.
September 10th, 2022 at 8:33 PM ^
2011 WMU
2014 Utah
2017 MSU
2017 Minnesota
2019 ND
I think that's all.
