Notre Dame is in quite the predicament

There is a ton of lightning in the area, but there's no way they'd agree to end the game down 16-0. They might be finishing this one late tonight or tomorrow.

He looks like he's lost it down there. I will be in South Bend for lunch with a customer (huge Domer) on Wednesday.  It will be interesting to hear his thoughts on Kelly as he's actually a really good guy with a level head with respect to college football.  AND he cannot stand Tressel and OSU almost as much as me.

No way they'll finish this game tonite.  It's going to storm all night.  But whatever, get them exhausted from staying up playing football all night.  Gets UM an advantage for getting a quarter off.

I don't know why FB games can even be called because of rain/ lightening. Even during these delays, most of the fans are outside. Where can they even go?

Game has resumed.  And if you've followed USF at all, they are notorious choke-artists....

And Tommy Rees will be the QB, so that's also probably in ND's favor.

Kelly is a scumbag. 1) putting Crist back in with concussion symptoms last year. 2) video kid dying when high speed winds had been in the headlines for days. 3). The kid accused of rape never had to sit out. 4) I knew a student at GVSU when Kelly was there and she said there was a system for blatant cheating in the classroom set up by the program.

In my Michigan centric world I'm worried that losing to USF will cause ND to try that much harder next week. I'd rather they be reading their positive press clippings all week.

Goes way back to his GVSU coaching days....

Yells, screams, belittles, and holds grudges......... (my roommate was recruited by him and the clown blew up when my roommate said he had accepted an offer from another school.... no congrats or good luck... very selfish with no concern for kids futures beyond football)

It's a double-edged sword.  The flip side is that a loss could devastate ND.  The national championship is all they can play for, since they're not in a conference, so to lose the opener (and almost certainly destroy any chance of the BCS title game) has to be brutal.

Is the game being televized on the same channel?  I can't seem to find it although I was watching it before.  There is nothing I want more than to see Notre Dame lose.

They're legit top 20 whatever happens in this game.  Tons of bad luck.  But they've got a lot of talent on both sides of the ball imo.
