Noon Games Thread
With Michigan destroying NIU, figured some might want to start checking out and discussing the many interesting noon games.
- MSU leads Miami, 10-7
- WMU and Pitt are tied at 20
- WVU leads VT, 24-7
- OU leads Nebraska, 7-3
- Indiana leads Cincy, 14-7
- CCU and Buffalo tied at 14
- Minnesota and Colorado tied at 0
Penix just threw a terrible pick, Cincy ball near midfield with :27 left in the half and two timeouts.

Western just scored to make it 27-20 over Pitt. Also, IU will be without their best defensive player, Micah McFadden, for the remainder of the game due to a targeting ejection.

Shocked that Nebraska hasn't been blown out by now.
September 18th, 2021 at 1:52 PM ^
Their defense has been great so far. If their FG kicker was good they'd be up on Oklahoma.
Indiana up on Cincy, and MSU up on Miami.
Big Ten good? Too early to tell.

He's 1/2 from 50+, but the missed 35-yarder is hard to excuse. Then again, there's a reason #collegekickers exists.
September 18th, 2021 at 1:59 PM ^
Oklahoma struggled with Tulane too. Maybe Oklahoma isn’t good.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:03 PM ^
I know his numbers look good but I'm just not real impressed with Spencer Rattler.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:09 PM ^
Yeah he is overhyped. Every time they talk about him being a Heisman candidate I cringe.
September 18th, 2021 at 1:53 PM ^
I agree, biggest shock is Oklahoma vs Nebraska.
September 18th, 2021 at 1:57 PM ^
Sooner fans tugging on their collars with a Rodney Dangerfield face right now.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:01 PM ^
Miami is beating Miami. Hats off to MSU for taking advantage of that for the time being.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:05 PM ^
Why am I not surprised? I feel like there are few teams more consistently undisciplined than Miami, no matter the coach.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:11 PM ^
Aw, poor Rocky.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:11 PM ^
I wanted to post 7 possesssions = 8 TDs
September 18th, 2021 at 2:23 PM ^
I bet Manny Diaz can feel that seat getting hotter.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:34 PM ^
Yep, Miami officially blows.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:25 PM ^
Good lord Nebraska!!!
September 18th, 2021 at 2:27 PM ^
VT gets a lofty ranking (#15) and promptly shits the bed.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:34 PM ^
So… MSU is good again?
September 18th, 2021 at 2:35 PM ^
Definitely not the 6-6 team we were hoping for.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:35 PM ^
They're definitely better than anticipated but their three opponents all kind of blow. Impressed with their play, though.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:53 PM ^
On the road vs a ranked team they are at least not crumbling.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
Miami is exhibit #1,000,000,000 why preseason polls are often useless. They're still ranked only because of their initial poll number. Their resume is a blowout loss and a narrow win over a lesser team (though to be fair App State is a very good mid-major). This will be akin to Wisconsin getting to claim a ranked win over MSU in 2016.
September 18th, 2021 at 5:04 PM ^
Cannot respect a win over the #24th team.
September 18th, 2021 at 5:05 PM ^
Cannot respect a win over the #24th team.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:42 PM ^
They got Nebraska, western Kentucky, Rutgers, and Indiana. They could easily be 7-0 coming into our game.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:58 PM ^
Nope
What game are you watching?
September 18th, 2021 at 3:19 PM ^
The same game you're watching but I don't have my blue sunglasses on. They play a bunch of bad to average teams. If they beat Miami they can beat Rutgers, Indiana and Nebraska
September 18th, 2021 at 2:34 PM ^
OU may be imposing their will here.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:43 PM ^
Western back up 7 on Pitt and UC pulls ahead of IU, 17-14.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:44 PM ^
Nicely done Miami....game over. Lost to Sparty at home. Yikes.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:38 PM ^
MSU has a legit offense with Walker. Miami won't be the last home team to lose to Sparty this season.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:55 PM ^
Indiana game starting to get more exciting.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:01 PM ^
Kinda rooting for IU. Fuck Chachi Sandler. The man is a Buckeye.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:11 PM ^
Martinez singlehandedly threw that final drive away with shitty decisions
September 18th, 2021 at 3:12 PM ^
Miami is bad, but MSU does look more organized.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:19 PM ^
MSU is decent. Will be a tough game for us.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:24 PM ^
Miami's QB's arm is shot. That last throw quacked halfway to the receiver.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:24 PM ^
Miami just looks terrible.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:26 PM ^
That interception in the Oklahoma/Nebraska game might be the single best interception I’ve seen since Woodson in 97.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:38 PM ^
Jourdan Lewis made the same pick, in a higher pressure situation and it was like 40+ yards down the field...not a shot put that I could've one handed out of the air.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:28 PM ^
Devin Gardner is calling the Va Tech-WVU game, pretty cool
September 18th, 2021 at 3:30 PM ^
That's a fumble by the IU RB.
Also, WMU knocking on the door to go up two scores.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:31 PM ^
MSU will be undefeated when they face Michigan. Fuckin hell.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:35 PM ^
You sound scared. I'm glad you're not on the team.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:37 PM ^
Can you blame him? Michigan is great at losing to MSU when they shouldn’t.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:43 PM ^
Harbaugh is also undefeated in East Lansing.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:23 PM ^
Yeah, but that just means he’s due for a loss.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:36 PM ^
As long as they aren't after they play Michigan (in this scenario)...who cares? It'll be a bigger win for Michigan.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:34 PM ^
VT with two very questionable playcalls on their third and fourth down plays.
WVU holds and will win.
