Noon game thread
Starting since one isn't up yet.
First play from scrimmage in the Wake vs UNC game: ball carrier has ball ripped out as going down - almost identical to last week's strip sack controversy. Ruled fumble on field and replay official determines ball was out before shin made contact. Fun.

Illinois RB will probably have over 100 in the 1st half.

I don't know if anyone saw that pregame segment with Tanner Morgan, but it baffles me how these guys look like such impressive athletes warming up and doing drills, and then get out there and look like trash.
Just goes to show how far the average shlub is from these athletes.

To quote the noted philosopher Mike Tyson: “Everybody’s got a plan until you punch ‘em in the mouth.”

Good shot on stroud there
November 6th, 2021 at 12:56 PM ^
I think OSU is beatable this year. And for once we will have them at home, unlike 2016 and 2018.
November 6th, 2021 at 12:56 PM ^
Where is Ham?
OSU cocksuckers can stfu.
November 6th, 2021 at 12:57 PM ^
Still can't but help feeling like this is merely a very good Ohio State team, not the unstoppable death machine of the past few years. Huskers doing a nice job keeping them contained.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:01 PM ^
I think so too. It looks like to me that CJ Stroud is immature, and is not ready this year. I really do think McCord would be moving the team better.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:03 PM ^
Realistically they always have 2 or 3 games a year where I think that. Although, oddly, it's usually against teams they should destroy. Then I realized they only looked like that in those games because they were practicing for Michigan all week.

Small victory for NEB but u got to score...
November 6th, 2021 at 1:01 PM ^
Neb got called for pulling on the jersey of Olave in the End Zone...hmmm, that didn't happen last week when that happened to MSU pulling on our guy.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:03 PM ^
Thought the CB broke that up. Nope just went right off his hands. Come on Neb.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:03 PM ^
Neb special teams what am adventure
November 6th, 2021 at 1:03 PM ^
Targeting rule continues to ruin games: UNC just lost on of their defensive captains when he made slight helmet/helmet contact on a running qb while clearly trying to arrest his own momentum.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:04 PM ^
Shankariffic punt gives OSU a shorter field. The competitive phase of this game is about to end.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:05 PM ^
Nebraska's backup quarterback has got to be literally a corn of corn--how do you tolerate the foibles of Adrian Martinez otherwise? The hole was right there on the option and and he flat-out misses it, then he under throws an open receiver.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:12 PM ^
Touchdown, Buckeyes. Sheesh, all day; are our guys taught to wait for the CB to look at the QB? That was easy...
November 6th, 2021 at 1:14 PM ^
Neb needs a touchdown drive now or very very soon. Their field goal kicker is not reliable.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:15 PM ^
How does he compare to their punter?
November 6th, 2021 at 1:14 PM ^
Nebraska had all those trick plays prepared for Michigan. Where is that against OSU? Why do other teams just target michigan ? Prepare something for OSU gd it.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:31 PM ^
The trick plays as you call them happened in second half
Problem is Martinez is hurt again so will limit them
November 6th, 2021 at 1:17 PM ^
Man, all that clapping! What's up with that, that's got to hurt!
November 6th, 2021 at 1:18 PM ^
Adrian Martinez is a walking injury.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:19 PM ^
What the heck, on a bad ankle they call qb keeper on 3rd down ?
November 6th, 2021 at 1:25 PM ^
November 6th, 2021 at 1:20 PM ^
Hooray, a field goal made by Big Red !
November 6th, 2021 at 1:20 PM ^
Gus Johnson: "Interesting play call there." Translation: "What in the world were they doing?"
November 6th, 2021 at 1:21 PM ^
Exactly. Maybe Frost not totally aware. Terrible 3rd down call.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:21 PM ^
Wake forest can seriously score
November 6th, 2021 at 1:25 PM ^
So can you-know-who. Sigh.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:27 PM ^
And so can Nebraska, at least with a miracle. I almost fell off my sofa.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:24 PM ^
OSU D is handling NE well. No spread will work on OSU D due their speed. Only way Michigan could upset OSU would be for Cade to have a bigger day then against OSU.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:30 PM ^
No. There are many ways Michigan can beat OSU. Cade, Haskins, Corum, and some turnovers by defense. It's college football.
November 6th, 2021 at 2:00 PM ^
November 6th, 2021 at 1:24 PM ^
Okay, that was pretty funny, having that OSU TD come right after the Fox promo about who will have the longest TD today.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:27 PM ^
Why does Fleck for minnesota have sunglasses on in the shade
looks ridiculous
November 6th, 2021 at 1:27 PM ^
And now Nebraska hits a 72-yard touchdown pass. What a turn of events!
November 6th, 2021 at 1:27 PM ^
Wow, was about to check out for a nap and boom, TD Huskers !
November 6th, 2021 at 1:27 PM ^
I have the over on Army/Air Force...its 0-0 at the half. Next question.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:32 PM ^
Getting there!
November 6th, 2021 at 1:28 PM ^
November 6th, 2021 at 1:30 PM ^
Nebraska is showing some fight.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:31 PM ^
Omg, now Army hits a 79- yard touchdown pass against Air Force on a beautiful wheel route. Offenses going crazy these past few minutes.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:32 PM ^
Don't they call illegal man downfield on punts anymore? Everyone had left the line by time the Ohio St punter kicked it.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:37 PM ^
In the NCAA rules, the only description of the Ineligible Receiver Downfield penalty is below. It can only be called on a forward pass that crosses the line of scrimmage. Since a punt isn't a forward pass, the linemen are able to release as soon as the ball is snapped.
Per sports stack exchange.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:39 PM ^
They changed the rule a few years ago. Anyone on the line can head downfield before the punt.
November 6th, 2021 at 1:34 PM ^
Go Big Red!
November 6th, 2021 at 1:35 PM ^
Frost playing for the punt. Too much time left, Could burn him
November 6th, 2021 at 1:36 PM ^
Dude playing for North Carolina named Storm Duck. First name (not nickname) Storm, last name Duck. How in the world did Michigan not recruit him?
November 6th, 2021 at 1:38 PM ^
Biggest question is why isn't he playing for Oregon.
