He has it figured out is why I believe. The gunners and other coverage guys come sprinting down at their top end speeds that all Peppers has to do is juke or sprint lateral and then get the edge. Only the super athletes can do it. Kind of like Dion used to sprint in a circle while the defenders were breaking their ankles trying to get to him.

Peppers may be the best player in football, but Jackson is at the position that pretty much wind by default most of the time. Peppers should get a trip to NY for the ceremony, though.

I doubt it. He'll have to score a few more offensive touchdowns before he gets in the discussion. Likely had to add at least one more TD either on D or ST. But, a few INTs would negate the need for that.

Defensive scores count less than offensive ones The heisman has weird ratios for stats that depend on position and how well your team does. If Jabrill was listed as a QB and played on defense and special teams, he'd get more notice
