Personally, I loved it that these guys mocked PSU all night. They deserved every bit of it. Patterson, Hudson, and Chase with the home run swing and salutes. DPJ, Perry and others doing the windmill. The team dancing on the sideline the entire 4th quarter. The stadium music and topping it off with we "we own Penn St."

Especially funny that they got the salute detail because the actual celebration McSorely was mimicking clearly requires the person to mime covering their eyes searching for the home run ball off in the distance, but McSorely did a weird salute thing as if he misunderstood the concept. Fuckin idiot. And they got it down perfectly.

It was no accident that we played "Mo Bamba" this week.

The Michigan stadium DJ was in on this with the Michigan players the entire time:

Why did Nico Collins switch to the number 88 jersey for this kickoff return?  The rest of the game he was wearing #4.  Weird strategy Harbs is employing.  Could be illegal.

As long as there are not two players with the same number on the field at the same time and you inform the officials of any changes - even temporary ones - you're good, so no, not illegal. In any case, had you watched the video, you'd note that none of this is going on.

I dunno.  I've seen this movie play out before.  OSU looked like crap in 2016 in the weeks before The Game.  I don't think they can fix all their flaws before The Game this year, but they'll definitely pay more attention to detail that week and on gameday.  It won't be like the other games on the Revenge Tour.

Maybe.  But it will probably play out the same.  OSU has bad inside linebackers and slow safeties, and both groups tackle poorly.  That's a really poor match-up for a team like Michigan that wants to pound it inside and then go over the top.  The Tarik Black TD has to terrify.  They have to protect those safeties, so they have to play deep (they'll come up if they get behind because they'll need to take some chances).  The LB's will probably have to play aggressive to avoid getting overrun.

That means lots of 3.5 yard runs with a few pops for big gains on the ground, and the middle of the field open for passing and some deep shots getting home.  Exactly how the last few went.

Defensively, OSU will get theirs if Haskins is on... but if he's off (like McSorley, Lewerke, Hornibrook), it will go exactly the way the last few went.  And though those QBs may have had some injury/limitation, the constant pressure and confusion of Don Brown's defense drove the poor results more than anything else.

I agree, Black is arriving on scene at the right time and his speed adds another dimension to the Michigan Offense. The OSU DB's will be pressured all day, Man, this is the Receiving Corps lineup that I've been waiting to see all year. Collins, Black, at WR Peoples Jones in the slot, and Gentry at tight end. This is a Matchup nightmare for any team in the nation, not just the Buckeyes.

They won't be able to jam the box with 9 guys to stop the run.

Defensively, OSU is why Harbaugh went out and got Don Brown to stop the Meyer offense. Make the Buckeye Offense one dimensional and pressure Haskins like never before.
