Lions oline blocks nobody on 3rd and 1 and the running back is swallowed up. Sounds familiar
September 8th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
Is Harbaugh calling plays for the Lions now?
September 8th, 2019 at 5:08 PM ^
He very well could be in a year or two.
September 8th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
Wow. That opening drive by the Lions looked very familiar...
September 8th, 2019 at 4:31 PM ^
The back cut right into the defenders. The line went left, the defense was overloaded right, back cut right into 4 unblocked defenders.
September 8th, 2019 at 4:32 PM ^
Should be another typical Lions game!
September 8th, 2019 at 4:35 PM ^
Whenever any football player is described by an announcer or coach they're always "a kind of guy who." It's an unspoken rule, similar to every youtuber starting a video with "what's up guys." Why is that?
September 8th, 2019 at 4:46 PM ^
Hey MGrowOld, it’s too much pressure on your Browns. Conversely, my Lions fold with no expectations.
September 8th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
Kyler Murray makes a rookie mistake and throws a bad pick in his own end. Let's see if Lions can cash in
September 8th, 2019 at 4:48 PM ^
Lions fumble it back on the next play so same old Lions
September 8th, 2019 at 4:50 PM ^
I didn’t know Shea Patterson was drafted by the Lions.
September 8th, 2019 at 4:50 PM ^
This is looking very familiar.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:02 PM ^
MC Clap your hands!!!
September 8th, 2019 at 5:12 PM ^
Should be up by more than 3. Defense is playing good, but I also think the Cardinals are going to be one of the worst teams in the league and Kingsbury was an awful hire. But still, playing well against a bad offense is a good thing. Offense needs to finish drives. A couple first downs on each one but can’t get into the red zone. Can’t pass up opportunities like that no matter who the opponent.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
This is like watching paint dry. Wish they let Murray air it out.
Not sure why the Lions won't attack a terrible Arizona secondary. Two starting corners out.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:15 PM ^
They finally did but the oline is giving up a lot of pressure so its a bit scary
September 8th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
Speed in space! Danny Amendola with the big catch and run for a TD!
September 8th, 2019 at 5:15 PM ^
That was smoove.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:23 PM ^
So far, the highlight for me is Sweezy executing a beautiful flying sack of his own QB.
That said, it would be nice to see the Lions pull one out in another place where they seem historically snakebitten.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:27 PM ^
I have to say, as a comparison to the old lions, our new 1st round pick TE is already looking like a big upgrade over our last 1st round pick TE.
September 8th, 2019 at 6:59 PM ^
I honestly LOL'd at that.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:26 PM ^
Hockenson is the next GRONK! Who has Lions fever???
September 8th, 2019 at 5:27 PM ^
matt stafford with an RPO run for a first down....nice.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:27 PM ^
Holy shit Stafford just kept on a zone read option! He needs to teach Shea how to do that
September 8th, 2019 at 5:27 PM ^
Even Stafford kept on a zone read
September 8th, 2019 at 5:30 PM ^
Logs on to make funny RPO comment. Sees 3 others. Laughs. Then cries.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:33 PM ^
So this is what speed in space looks like
September 8th, 2019 at 5:44 PM ^
Okay, I can't ignore the Michigan comparisons anymore. That muffed punt..
September 8th, 2019 at 5:52 PM ^
And the Lions hold the Cardinals to a field goal. I sense a great disturbance in the Force.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:56 PM ^
don't. it was easy to forget that the cards might be the only team in the league worse than us.
September 8th, 2019 at 6:06 PM ^
*cough* 49ers Browns Bills Dolphins Jaguars Jets *cough*
we aren't great, but we aren't the worst either
September 8th, 2019 at 6:08 PM ^
As if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and then were silenced.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:53 PM ^
Kingsbury looks lost.
September 8th, 2019 at 5:53 PM ^
We get it, commentator, you don't like modern option football.
September 8th, 2019 at 6:00 PM ^
I really like Quinn and Patricia. Been following the lions for decades and haven't felt like we've had a good front office till now.
We've bottomed out. Only direction to go is up!
September 8th, 2019 at 6:21 PM ^
So....Taylor Decker is not good enough to play Left Tackle. Three sacks directly on him.
September 8th, 2019 at 6:48 PM ^
Let's not forget the two holds....woof.
September 8th, 2019 at 6:59 PM ^
...and two false starts
September 8th, 2019 at 6:32 PM ^
Wow. Taylor Decker is having himself quite a day. Wtf.
September 8th, 2019 at 6:50 PM ^
TJ Hockenson is playing well -- over 100 yds already. A couple nice blocks as well.
Stay healthy, big guy.
September 8th, 2019 at 6:52 PM ^
Just added a nice TD grab
September 8th, 2019 at 6:52 PM ^
Even when the Lions are in control of game, they fuck it up. Penalties, drops, and turnovers keeping this way closer than it should be
September 8th, 2019 at 6:52 PM ^
....aaaaaand a false start.
Hey Schlereth, he's not off his game, this is his game!
September 8th, 2019 at 6:53 PM ^
This is is 4th rookie season, now. 3 sacks, 3 penalties, and a turnover, with 1 quarter to go.
September 8th, 2019 at 6:54 PM ^
Quinn and Patricia had the balls to take a TE in the 1st after all the missteps with us and our TE's.
They went against the fanbase and what they thought was right.
Love it!
September 8th, 2019 at 6:56 PM ^
I hated hated! The draft pick of the tight end in the first round, but damn, he’s a baller
September 8th, 2019 at 7:04 PM ^
I thought it was dumb too but maybe he becomes the weapon they need. Golliday, Hockenson, and Amendola are a nice complementary combination of receivers
September 8th, 2019 at 6:56 PM ^
Kyler Murray must have the same injury Shea does?
September 8th, 2019 at 7:04 PM ^
Brain injury. I kid. I kid.
