Boswell is a 6'2" 180lb PG out of Compass Prep and is the composite #14 player in the country right now.
Interesting that we are looking to take potentially take a PG 3 classes in a row when it seems like front court positions are likely the biggest areas of need and depth

PG is like QB. Take one every year because it is extremely important.

While you don't necessarily have to take one every year, I feel like most years you make room if you can get one of this caliber.

I prefer Juwans penchant for getting seasoned transfers at the point guard, but welcome this nonetheless.

Other recruiting updates via Twitter…
Hoops — Greg Glenn -#108 overall Forward mentioned in earlier post today by Matt - now has 4 futurecasts for M on rivals. Checking the Matt’s thread he is now noting that he expects Glenn to pledge to M and possible Jett to commit on same day. Check out the thread for more details.
Football - New M Crystal Ball for 3* (4* on 247) Nose/DT Kenneth Grant. Notable as it comes from an OSU insider - given OSU was thought to be the greatest threat even though they were “slow playing” him.

Does this mean no Traore? God, I hope not.

General consensus is that Traore is a take regardless

Thanks for the update, as I am not onTwitter.

Watched a highlight and I love the idea of three consecutive fast guys at point guard.

Isn’t it a great feeling to be excited for football and excited for basketball at the same time!

I thought we were a hockey school?

You have to recruit a Point every year, they are crucial to our offense and sometimes they don’t pan out/transfer…see David DeJulius.

Guards win tournaments. Elite PGs are combo guards, often. Plus, JH is recruiting players that potentially go to the draft each year.

Guards win tournaments.
(It's so true, it needs the echo...)

What's going on with Marlin Jackson's relative? Are we still going after him?
September 23rd, 2021 at 9:52 AM ^
Good question. Elmarko Jackson is his name I believe. His film looked great.

I agree that you should get a pg at least every couple of years, if not every year.
you still have to contend with injuries and, frankly, players not turning out in college...
offering a guy isn't getting a guy. I think players like Boswell you offer regardless every year.
