Fan's drinking habits affect when the time they schedule the game? People should start boozing extra for noon games to encourage later starts.

Sparty gets by us this year. Not as a slight to Dant, as he has proven for being a dickhead, that he can coach. I just mean in regards to how many leaders they lost from this past season in conjunction with barely ecking out a win.

Things looking up for the Wolverines my fellow Maize n Blue faithful. I believe Roscoe P Coltrane would be commenting about "he loves it he loves it". Ya know what, so do I.

I would guess Hollis knows it as well. If he thought it would be a sure win, he wouldnt refrain from a night game I am guessing.

Anytime someone says either rivalry game should be at night at The Big House, I will direct them to this link.

Even those people know having that game at night would be like unleashing hell on a city.

Also, the amount of incidents at the 3:30 games is enough to move it to noon permanently.

Not to mention the idiots vandalizing shit every year. On both sides.

If something is not done, something really bad is going to happen. It's escalating every year and eventually it's going to burst.

the way i see it. If its a big game at noon drunk fans start drinking at 7. If its a game at 3:30 they start drinking at 10. Not much of a difference. I know a few heavy drinking fans and I would say I'd prefer a noon start because I know they're passed out around 7pm instead of wandering around all night.

It is a lot safer for an MSU car to go to Ann Arbor than it is for a UM car to go to EL.  There are, indeed, idiots on both sides, but there are a lot more of them in both EL and Columbus when it comes to vandalizing cars and harassing opposing fans.

This is probably good and more safe for M fans after Michigan absolutely destroys Sparty in their own stadium next year.

As long as we get different officials than this past year's Penn State game. Ha

MSU fans cant handle a night home game against a rival... smh. Why we never have night games against OSU. No class at all. I get the drunk part but when they cant handle being drunk at a game they obviously have no class. At least its not as bad as what was happening with the bengals and steelers im the playoffs game.

the last time this came up..

"Former Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon was adamant the Wolverines would not play Michigan State in a night game in Ann Arbor for many of the same reasons."

"An idea that will likely be more than a long shot at Michigan Stadium, according to Brandon.

In fact, he believes it's a bad idea.

"We don't think think it's a good idea," Brandon said. "From our perspective, the nature of that rivalry and the intensity of it, when you put that on in prime time and you give everybody all day long to gear up for it."

"Hosting that at Michigan Stadium, that's probably taking that a step further than it needs to go."

Is that  because Staee fans are causing all the drama in AA too?   OR is it because a few hundred thousand drunk college football fans tend to do stupid things after drinking all day regardless of venue or fan base?

I don't care what time it starts. I'm gonna be there dressed head to toe in maize and blue cheering my ass off. Seeing that punk ass team celebrate on our field like that made my blood boil. A fluke won't be able to save them this time around. Nothing would make me happier than seeing a bunch of Michigan fans fill up their stadium as we celebrate a dominant victory over them.

He is not stupid (Hollis) no way does he put UM on a stage for all of college football to see their team get punked by Michigan. It took 8 years to build that dynasty, he's not going to throw it all away in one night. Go Blue!!!
