Dude seriously we need to all chill with the righteous indignation. Have you never pulled a prank in college? I'm a grown ass man with kids....but I could give a crap about these events. They aren't hurting anyone wtf are you so worked up about?

Eh, they hit the marching band members guarding the sparty statue at 4am.  It's not as egregious as chucking paint balloons at random pedestrians trying to get to class.  They targeted a group of people who, presumably, volunteered to be frontlines in the rivalry warzone.  Hell, if I were one of the guys guarding the diag at 4am, I'd probably be excited at the prospect of seeing some action and having a story to tell in later years rather than getting through the week without incident.

This isn't nearly the outrageous indignity some people make it out to be.  It's college.

Killing 100 year old trees - vandalism.

Throwing paint filled balloons at random people - assault.

Throwing paint filled baloons at rivals before a game - harmless prank.

Not sure why I feel this way, but I do.  It's like a senior prank.  Somehow, there is a pass for these kinds of things.  Mischief is the spice of life.  But there is a time and place, as long as you don't overdo it.

Well they weren't even throwing it at the people, they were throwing it at he statue and missed. And, OMG, there was some paint on the ground. If someone had been clocked in the head and was actually injured - ok, yeah, that's way too far. This? Nothing close to the insanity that some people are making it out to be.
