Defense really did have a stellar outing. Enough to overcome an offense that went tepid at times and a few major special teams gaffes.

There were multiple series when our front 7 absolutely dominated them and kept sacking and pushing them back. I think we got them to 3rd and 20+ multiple times. I'm about to do a rewatch and I'll cue them up and add them to this comment.
THAT is the punishing Michigan Defense, like the '85 and '97 defenses, that inspired my username.
