that Drake Johnson comes back from his knee surgery - not a given with two injuries to the same knee.  And there are no transfers.  Aside from all that, it looks likely the 2015 class will be a goose egg as far as RB's now.  So, that means the 2016 class, we'll need to bring in a bunch of backs.

My very thought! You beat me to it.

I remember following college football before the internet when  you found out about recruits on signing day. It was OK. We lived.

As for Mr. Weber and other recruits, let's gey a new coach on board, let him recruit, and let's see what happens.

unless michigan makes great coaching moves and starts moving in the right direction soon, it does not much matter who plays RB at osu (or michigan for that matter) - meyer and staff have demonstrated they can mold available talent into potent scoring Os, they do what it takes to win.

osu has smart modern coaches who understand the importance of speed, and not only have ability to recruit and develop athletes, but utilize those pieces in whatever scheme best attacks their opponent, ideology be damned  -- hopefully we can soon say the same about michigans coaches (bc i do not like meyer and would love to once again honestly view um as legit title contender and prim destination for student-athletes w nfl prospects)

That is all? As in that is all of the running backs on the roster next year and we may be in trouble because one is an unproven transfer, one just tore their ACL again, and the other two have been underwhelming over a large sample size?

Or that is all as in, they had all these recruiting stars and all that glitters is gold?

1. I am just trying to say that Michigan isn't so stocked with proven running back talent that we can act like we are completely fine without him. Any talented guys we can add to the fold will certainly help.

2. We do not know for a fact they will get better coaching until we get a running back coach and see how they perform during a live game. Until then, we are just hoping that Fred Jackson wasn't a great coach near the end and anyone we get will have to be better.

But our RB situation is awesome right now, IMO.  We are loaded.  Ty Isaac isn't a high-level recruit.  He has, like, actual college stats.  We have an embarrassing wealth of talent at the RB position.  As many have said in this thread, if we hire the right coach, we don't have anything to worry about.

And what makes you think they didn't get good coaching up to this point?  Get to visit many practices, huh? Didn't meet your standards?

Just because the results on the field failed to meet all of your desires and expectations, don't assume that it's all because of inadequate coaching.

The internet is wonderful. Allows for people to express their opinion. Easy to do anonymously. Yet, an opinion is not nesscessarily an informed opinion.

Try to remember to be fair.
