What a play that was. He looks so small compared to him, yet made a play like a big man. Definitely thread worthy. Sainristil is a baller. Can't believe he was a WR last year. Need him at top of his game this weekend.

Watching the play live and even the second time, he looked beat. My mind was just starting to formulate the thought "Damn, TD" when he seemingly teleported to the ball and knocked it away.

Possibly the play of the game for Michigan. That was otherwise an easy TD catchup for Stover. More or less a layup, but Sainristil's closing speed was unreal. It wouldn't have tied the game, but it could've brought OSU to within a field goal and would've absolutely given them the shot of adrenaline that they desperately needed at that point. And who knows how both teams react from there.
But what we do know is OSU has to settle for a field goal, and then Donovan Edwards trots out onto the field the very next play, and the rest is history.
Mike Sainristil may have made himself a lot of money, both through NIL and one day in the league, by making that play.

The next two games will provide more opportunities for him to show the football world what he can do, but I am excited to watch him next year and beyond. If this is where he is after 13 games as a college DB, imagine what the future might hold.
