Check the schedule for ABC/ESPN.  If it is a week scehdule that day it will likely be 3:30.  See Michigan State v. Indiana and the classic rivalry game this weekend, Iowa v. Maryland.

game will be announced the following Sunday?

Sucks because I'm going to the game and need to book a hotel, but whether it's Friday or Saturday night depends on kickoff time. I'll probably need to find something in Indianapolis anyway, there seem to be only a Red Roof, a Motel 6 and a Super 8 within a 50 mile radius of Bloomington.

Remember when start times were announced at the beginning of the season so we didn't have to wait to schedule our lives around start times announced at the last minute in order to maximize the additional piles of cash added to the already huge piles of wildly rich people?

And oh yeah, GET OFF MY LAWN!

it's great to be able to see every Michigan game in HD, and clearly there's no going back. I wouldn't argue that it was better, but it wasn't bad. We had Bob Ufer on radio; in many ways that was better than a modern telecast with "neutral" announcers.  If you had ever seen a game in Michigan Stadium, you could picture the action as Ufer described it: "Two tight ends and a balanced line, Huckelby deep, Davis close, Ricky Leach under center, the ball resting 18 yards in, from this, the western sideline."

If you remember Ufer's game calling you must be an "old guy", too! Usually his call was as you said, but after Hucklebee deep and Davis close, he would say "and the guts and glue of the maize and blue, Ricky Leach!" Etc.

Taking a look ahead to the games with known starts on Week 10, the 12:00 and 3:30 slates are pretty full for ESPN / ABC and while some of the Big Ten games have times, networks are undecided on those. That sort of makes it seem like they'll be regional games (i.e., seen in certain markets), at least those with times already.

The undecided games, other than ours, are Iowa / Indiana and Northwestern / Penn State. I can't see any of them, ours included, going later than 3:30 given the known lineup, and I imagine BTN might be the best bet for a network. I could be wrong though.

I thought it was an appropriate title for the conversation. Didn't really give it much thought. Wasn't trying to be misleading. I'm trying to arrange travel plans to Michigan for this game, the Indiana game, and the Penn State game and it's driving me nuts that the times aren't up for any of these games yet. If it's a noon game, I can fly back home that night. If it's a 3:30 game, I can fly in that morning. Just hoping to find out before the flight prices go up too much. Was hoping somebody on the board might have some inside sources. I have no idea how these times are determined.
