JB is 4-4 against top four seeds which is super impressive considering that he's only had a seed that high like once. Just more evidence that shows who the best coach in the country is...

We got into playing their game- poor coaching on our part. 30 second clock? that Loyola-Marymount team would have been fine with a 10 second clock (total).

Their head coach was Paul Westhead whom Magic Johnson got fired from the Lakers.

roy tarpley, in all fairness, should have fouled out pretty early in the second half when he ran over a dude at mid court.  but no call.

also, gary grant, who had a great season, played like a deer in the headlights.  it took a forgotten man off the bench, leslie rockymore, to bail us out of that game.  we then got bounced a couple days later.

Wolverines lost by only 1 point to Villanova and 'Nova went on to beat everyone else by 2 or more. I have to point that out to people that suggested Michigan was prone to early exits in that era.

LMU took only 4 more shots overall, but they were 21-40 from three (!!!) while we were just 4-13.

LMU scored 84 points in the 2nd half.

Jeff Fryer from LMU was 11-15 from three and finished with 41 points.
