Yes. I know that less than three years is a short history.

- Baylor dropped out of the CFP poll for the first time, leaving Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State and Utah as the only teams to appear in every poll (15 weeks).

- At #10, Penn State is the seventh different B1G team to be ranked in the Top 10 of the CFP poll since its inception. The SEC leads with eight.

- At #25, Arkansas is the 10th SEC team to crack the CFP poll. The Pac 12 beat them to it last week when Colorado appeared for the first time. Only Oregon State and Cal have not appeared in the poll from the Pac 12.

- This is Michigan’s eighth week in the poll. The Wolverines along with Oklahoma State moved past Florida, which stayed at seven appearances after dropping out. Louisville, Georgia, Arizona State, Arizona, Kansas State, North Carolina and USC also have seven appearances.

Agree completely, but as you can see from most of the comments, we're getting so good at the "DISRESPEKT!!!" complaining.

Michigan's looked great, but they haven't played a team with a pulse on the road yet. The team will get their chances over the next month and I think they'll do great.  Win those and it's on to the playoffs!

Twelve teams in the top 25 are currently 7-2.

A year ago there were only five (we were the highest ranked of those at #15).

Six teams were undefeated, and 13 had one loss (five and four today).

There were no 3-loss teams in the top 25 a year ago.  Now there are three...FSU, LSU, Ark.  Voters are hanging on to the idea that those teams are are good.

I tabulated each team's wins v. current Top 25 teams, and the number of those wins on the road.  Also each team's losses v. current Top 25 teams; the number of those at home; and the number of losses to teams outside the Top 25.

Oddly, the lowest-ranked two teams with road wins against current Top 25 are VaTech and UNC -- both @ FSU.  Other than playing at FSU, the only team with two road wins against Top 25 is ... OSU(YTOSU).

Thanks for this.  It just shows you how name (or conference) recognition alone can get you rated.  Its a crime FSU and LSU are still ranked.  Yes, their losses have been good but that have beaten exactly zero good teams.  I get not punishing a team too badly for losing to a top team but there has to be a limit.  If you can't point to one good win and you have three losses, there should be no way in hell you are ranked.

FSU's best win is what, a 5-4 Miami team

LSU can point to their thrilling victory over a 5-4 Southern Miss team from Conf. USA as their best win

Arkansas has a 5-4 TCU team to promote.

Are those really teams that should be considered top 25 or top 20 for FSU?
