Didn't see a game thread. Figured I make one (shrugs). 

 

So far getting dominated on the boards. No surprise there. 

 

Luckily, the 3 ball is keeping us ahead of em.

Its frustrating, because you feel like this version of Walton plus Wagner and Wilson should be a much better team than this.

Would be nice if whoever designed the crisler reno didn't have the away team shooting into a tunnel rather than fans for the second half

Unfortunately I don't see UM giving him the $6M buyout after this year or even the $5M after next year. 2018-19 it drops to $1.5M. So most likely we are looking at another 2 years of this garbage.

Another frustrating night.  I've tried to get on the bandwagon but the team just isn't very good.  Definitely heading for the NIT unless somethng crazy happens.  Why can't we good at football and basketball at the same time?

Burning our last timeout on an inbounds play down 4 with under a minute left is SO BAD. why don't they have a play for multiple situations.

does anyone think Calhoun even tried to be objective in the booth?  He was pro-Ohio every fucking time he opened is mouth.  Almost as bad as listening to Dan Fouts call an Oregon football game.

Calhoun, to his credit, knew exactly what was wrong with Michigan since the start of the 2nd half. Beilein somehow didn't. 

Look at the last Walton drive... 4 people around the fucking 3 point arc instead of crashing the boards. Miraculously, Walton still manages to get a tip chance to tie the game with 3 Buckeyes around him. 

It is inexcusable! Calhoun saw the apathy and lack of inside the arc grit from a mile away with the rest of us. Hell if he was coaching the team tonight, Michigan wins easily b/c he prolly knows how to utilize DJ and Wagner inside the arc instead of making them spot up jump shooters all game. 

 

Pathetic.

This is awful.  I've been a Beilein supporter but this was an inexcusably bad effort, in a game we had to have to make the tournament.  A lousy OSU team, which may not even make the NIT, outworked us in our own gym.  Terrible.

Not defending Beilein anymore cause, yes, I understand he recruited these guys... but the lack of ANY HEART on this team (outside of walton) is beyond embarassing. You could throw four of us out there with walton who would play 4 times as hard. These guys have zero fucking pride and zero fucking desire. Can't coach heart even if your John Wooden.
