Lockett is a 5-11/185 CB from Manvel, Texas.

Holds other offers from Oklahoma, Louisville and the sparties.

In other recruiting news, here is what 4-star 2016 LB Dontavius Jackson said about Michigan.

Also, Harbaugh and several other assistants are following 4 star QB Zach Gentry on twitter. Gentry is a 2015 QB and is currently committed to Texas.

All of this makes me hopeful that we're in for some pleasant surprises when we finally reach NSD on February 4th. If you had asked me a few weeks ago about recruiting, even in the immediate wake of the Harbaugh hire, I would have been more interested in keeping together what we had of a class, but to see this staff assemble so quickly and then reach out like this....I find myself impressed every day now.

It looks like Harbaugh only has 2 designations for recruits.

1. Committed to Michigan.

2. Not committed to Michigan. Fix.

To hell with what the recruits think their commitment status is, Harbaugh will let them know.
