VCU and Pitt just finished up.   VCU won a close one with Johns and Jackson combining for 34.  Johns actually closed out strong at the basket a couple of times!?!  Hoping for a good year for him.

We don't actually recruit at their level though. They get actual future NBA stars, our 1 and done is a bench player for one of the worst in the NBA and the other is like the 14th man for the Clippers. He also seems to have issues keeping guards on the roster. We only 3.5 this year, and one is a 19 year old sophomore, a freshman and a 1st year up transfer.

I do think the team will be average, but I don't think they'll be a top 3 team in the conference, and I don't think the conference will be good. I expect maybe 5 bids from the conference this year, and I worry we'll be fighting to finish in the top 5 most of the year.

Like the compete so far from the deep bench. You can’t just let them out physical you and slap the floor and chat and not match the physical nature

John Beilein had a myopic attention to detail. Juwan Howard recruits and gives his players more freedom but has worse rotations and nowhere near the identity or attention to detail. This is a fucking embarrassment.

There are so many average starting PG's in America and we can't get one? It can't be that difficult to recruit 1 to Michigan can it? EMU,CMU and WMU have better starting point guard than we have.

Fuck Frankie. Seems like a little bitch. Seeing him get injured this year wouldn’t make me sad in the least, that’s for sure

But holy shit, this team is not good lol

lol that was a shitshow on so many levels

but I'm ok with the journey. Interesting to see how this team can gel. I like our young players very much. Learn. Move on.

Juwan is not JB. That's just a credit to how great JB was. Juwan will recruit better talent but I highly doubt he will develop to JBs level. Gonna be interesting when it is fully Juwans guys as he will certainly get all the time in the world. His development of the backcourt right now sans JB guys is atrocious right now.

UM refuses to pay the big time players.  Juwan recruiting guys in the 70s to 100s while Ishiba is lading guys in the top 20. Thats how it goes.  UM is too cool to buy players.

Ring the bell when Juwan outbids Ishbia for a player. I was told EVERYONE will run for a NBA coach who can tell them how the pathway 3 years ago.  Do you see all our top 10 players?? Can you imagine if Hunter left?

UM is luckily not transactional.  Juwan keep recruiting #70-#150 which Matt smirks at. Coach B could develop those type.  Juwan can't.   Read the recruiting profile of Dugan - our insider was gritting his teeth.  Trying to be kind.

Wish someone at UM cared about bball like Ishbia.  Again look at this team with Hunter not getting $150K to sell iPhone plans and used cars.
