Michigan - Illinois Open Thread
OSU-NW winding down in a tight game, they just showed the Michigan faithful in the arena.
Let's fucking Go Blue!
edit: looks like M-Wolverine and I made the same thread simultaneously
-OSU beats NW in overtime. Michigan-Illinois now scheduled for a 2:38 tip.
liveblog for this one plz
Where can I find a live stream?
Geez. Tsio took a dang long time to set up that last play. I thought they had it in the bag but all of a sudden there's 5 seconds left...
wow, overtime in the NW-OSU game. I am definitely hoping NW can pull this off.
I can't root for tSIO, and as long as we beat Illinois, I'd rather play NW. Lets go Wildcats!
Ohio state is a 1 seed regardless, especially with Pitt losing
Pitt was (is, unless ND fucks shit up) the third or fourth one seed. OSU probably has the number one overall locked up.
Awsome clutch three right there!!!
They T'd him up for that? In overtime what utter shitt!!!
I think it was punishment enough that he had to put the mouthguard back in his mouth after he chucked it on the floor.
dumbass technical
missed both free throws, wow
The ball doesn't lie
I had been thinking both teams are shooting really well from the free throw line, but those two technical foul misses were huge.. I love it..
but damn, big three for tSIO
OSU has been in so much trouble, the refs wanted to make them feel like they're not the only school that "cheats" or "breaks the rules."
Michigan players should take note, touch Sullinger and it's an automatic foul. I have no issue with Sullinger, but man he seems protected out there.
It's ridiculous! Everytime he goes up it is an automatic call.
I think they already learned that when the refs screwed them to death in the game at OSU this year.
Wow - Dayton and Xavier are now tied! And UNC is only a point down. The day is starting to look better.
Xavier lost
Damn, Xavier couldn't pull of the comeback. Now have to hope Temple can take the automatic bid, or if not them, Richmond.
OSU's gameplan: Pass to Sullinger, let refs take care of rest
Watching a replay of time's that Sullinger was fouled, and they look realllly weak. Hell a few of em even look like hes the one contacting.
Dayton squeaks past Xavier. Ugh. UNC at least pulled its game out, but the bubble may have shrunk by one.
Doug Gottlieb looks like a clown
I'm surprised there's so much whining about OSU's benefit from the refs on here considering that NU was gifted a 3 pointer that was a clear shot clock violation near the end of regulation.
Now is not the time to be rational.
Sullinger shot 10 FTs in OT. The shot clock call should have been reviewed, but every time he went for a shot he got a call.
That was a shot clock violation, but it was so close that it would have been tough to call. It's understandable. The foul thing is just a flaw in the whole system (maybe it is just me not liking basketball's weak fouls in general).
Wow that pink shirt and tie are just bad.
Whoever tied it for him is a jackass.
I don't understand the whole power tie look. When the tie knot is as big as your head it looks goofy and stupid. Michael Irvin has started a terrible trend.
Pumped for this game.
So, The Obviously Scandal-plagued University won?
What is the exact time of tipoff????
just edited, 2:38

Does anyone else not hate the B1G in the paint? I don't think it's that bad.
It's growing on me to the point that I don't hate it anymore.
I don't think the three letter logo is that bad. The one where it spells out B1G TEN needs to go hole up with Gaddafi somewhere though.
That is somewhat surprising.
I heard on one of those in-game updates that SEC teams with the higher seeds wear colors and lower seeds wear the whites. So maybe it is the reverse for the Big Ten.
OSU wore white today and last night Penn State, Northwestern, and MSU all wore white and al higher seeds.
