I liked the vuvuzelas... gave that world cup a unique feel (but I was just watching on tv).
Besides, have you not heard the adage "the squeaky wheel gets the Opponent Watch"? I think it was attributed to Aesop, but one can never truly rely on the reputability of sources from that long ago.
