Michigan 'kind of scary' in 2018

Submitted by ThePonyConquerer on

From anonymous coach:

“It’s kind of scary, really, that they have 6'2" junior quarterback Shea Patterson,” the coaches said. “They were already a great football team, and they’re going to be a lot better. I came to a staff that recruited [Patterson], and I know all about him. The bottom line is, he’s a special player, for sure, and he’ll make them a different football team.”

I just think I should add this article here.

If you must delete I understand.

Would it be wrong to assume that if B. Peters is the #3 going into the season, he will eventually transfer (whether it be next spring, during this year, whenever)? D Mac (after this year) has 3 more years to run the show if Shea goes to the League, and we have Milton looming.

Under some circumstances, a story about an anonymous coach saying Shea Patterson is good would be a bullshit, worthless reference.

But as the story does not reference slimebags Zach Smith and Urban or Shelley Meyer, I find it thought provoking and refreshing.

In this world - contrast is everything.  Thank you for posting.

As long as it wasn't Lovie Smith of Illinois and Chris Ash of Rutgers (both of them will say Michigan is a rival of their school after all) that said this, this should be a positive

Do they do the rankings based just on personnel, or do they take schedule into account? Because I see these rankings of Michigan at 15 or 21 and I think they're high. Personally I think Michigan can win the B1G if Shea Patterson plays really well. And I think the conference is so strong that a 2nd place team could be under consideration for the playoff.
