Meta: MGoBlog Enhancer Extension Update - TROLL CAVE
Good morning, MGoBloggers!
I have been working on the MGoBlog Enhancer Extension more and implemented a couple new features.
Options Screen - Enables you turn features on and off, as well as manage your troll cave and troll settings
Troll Cave - Highly requested feature is now implemented. Allows you to add any user to your own "troll cave" so that you don't have to read their drivel. In fact, you can substitute in your own text! (Sorry Don, you are the victim of my demonstration).

I don't think I would mess with it if it's a regular user who I just don't like their opinions. Most of the people that annoy me don't last real long anyways. These are the people I would consider most troll cave worthy!

Most of the people who I'm going to cave show up only on gameday, so I have no issue blocking anything as they only contribute clutter and nothing of value.

I made myself a Windows Phone app years ago when they had a public API. It was read-only, but useful for before the site was mobile friendly and no one would dare write such an app for WP.
I am not sure if the API is still accessible or not. I wouldn't mind learning some cross-platform app development, but I am not going to commit to the time (just yet?) to do it.
The other reason I wouldn't do it is to not take any ad revenue from the site. I personally think the site has gone overboard with the ads (especially looking in the developer console for Chrome... WHOA blown up with ad activity), but it is not my place to mess with their business model.

I gave a +1 for your take on not shitting on their business model.
The only way to gainfully employ folks who write for an unaffiliated blog is through ad revenue. Unless you want to start seeing articles about high-quality Speed Stick deodorant, the way you monetize a site like this is via ads.
I have 0 problems with it as I enjoy the free content and know that I'm being marketed to 100% of the time when I'm on basically any other website.
Just like student-athletes, bloggers have every right to the money machine too.

Someone already proposed an app (not sure if it was this guy or not) and Seth quickly (rightly) swept in to put the kibosh on it. The primary driver for the old site's performance problems was related to the way the old app used to load the site.
Any app will have to be sanctioned by the owners of the site.
I think that's fair since it's their site.

Mr. VD, what happens when someone puts me on their troll list and changes my text to read that "I bang sheep."? Then they take a screenshot and post it to make it look like I said "I bang sheep." I would be so embarrassed. Kink shaming should not be tolerated.

If you're using Chrome, you may need to go back in and re-enable the extensions, since the permissions changed. But good stuff VikingDiet!

Is there an option to have the automatically load? I closed MGoBlog and when I returned, the cave was closed!

Never mind. I think the post by @Yostal a few places above me addressed the issue. Reloaded/re-enabled after the update and all seems to be working.
By the way, my troll text is "Serenity Now!"
If you ever add the option of dropping a photo in the auto text area, Costanza will be my choice!
