The easier question to answer is "When are you NOT on the site?"
I guess it's the 7 hours of sleep I get. Even then, I dream of Harbaugh. That's not creepy is it?

Probably only 2 dozen times/day.
Please forgive me. For lent, I'm giving up work. That should give me more time to dedicate to my MGoBlogging.

Do you side with "Alex Trebek" or "Keanu Reeves"?

and have a desktop that has reddit, mgoblog, and various other websites always open.
so i'm always on it.
the real question is how often do i refresh. a question to which i would rather not think about the answer.

I've also managed to eliminate that pesky "work" stuff from my day at work.
February 20th, 2015 at 6:43 AM ^
Do you have an app/widget to keep the all open on your desktop, or do you just always have your browswer open?

Somewhere between zero and six to eight for me. It depends on how busy I am with other things and whether there is something I deem to be important going on with Michigan athletics.

If I was watching a ten minute video online I would literally tab over to mgoblog to hit refresh four or five times before the video was over.
Work related internet research was virtually impossible.
As it stands currently, I still just leave mgoblog open on a tab all day.

too damn many, actually taking steps to cut down and put this stuff out of my mind for a while (no offense to Brian and Co). This was a long, bleak season and while Harbaugh brings reason for hope, time way is probably a good idea. It's not you MGoBlog, it's me.

I hit everything in my bookmarks a shocking number of times per day. I can just sit here for an hour and go back and forth through everything twenty times in the evening. Most of the times I don't stay for more than a few seconds, though.
It's odd behavior. It's quite common for me to click on the link in my bookmarks that takes me to the exact page I'm already on. In fact, I think at any given time, the bookmark I'm most likely to click on is the one I clicked last. Scary.
Really, though, plenty of people know this number. Advertisers, Google, Brian, the NSA, Facebook, countless foreign intelligence agencies.. etc. etc. It's not like my cholesterol, for example. I can just refuse to look at that, and luckily nobody else can see it either.

Depends. During the CC I probably "checked" on the site around 15 times a day on my iPhone, even at work, in case it was a F5, bad gateway situation.
Towards the later part of the last season when I knew Brady Hoke and Dave Brandon were basically driving the team into the ground, probably once or twice a day. This had more to do with loathing last season and less to do with not wanting to read the MGoBlog staff pieces.
Now that JH is here, I feel safe to visit 4-5 times a day to read the main page posts and check to see if there is any funny/meaningful/breaking news on the MGoBoard.

...good lord, if I knew the actual number then there's a chance my wife/family/boss might be able to learn the actual number and the results would be sad/embarassing/job-jeopardizing...so let's just leave it at: Hmmm, not sure.

During Harbaugh watch in December 2014 or otherwise?
Judging by Alexa there was the normal spike in viewership during football season in September, a super spike in October during hell/concussion gate (I hate that term I apologize), a big drop in November when many were just depressed, and then a super spike in December that took us even higher than any point during a football season.
And Alexa just measures tech type nerds who have an alexa toolbar installed but I am sure the trajectory of the common (wo)man is not any different.

Interesting.
12.7% of visitors are from South Korea.

Ssshhhhhhh..........if the advertisers figure out the same 100 people are responsible for 99% of the clicks here Brian and company could be in trouble.

I load up the site, read stuff, think I should probably go do something, leave for 2 minutes, then come back.
Repeat the entire day.
