Memorial Day Weekend Pos Bang
Friday pos bang time.
My F5 button is welcoming the end of the coach search. I'm looking forward to an extended weekend. Hope everyone has exciting plans on tap and make sure to take a few moments and remember the men and women who have given their lives for our country.
GO BLUE!!!
Got the lawn mowed in advance Wednesday night (shout out to my 40v Ryobi battery mower!), got the dogs dropped off at the parent's house last night. All set to take the family up north to the friend's cabin on the Au Sable!
And I've definitely already mentally checked out at work...we should probably just close the office down now.
Happy Memorial Day everyone! Here's to my great uncle Oliver who was shot down and killed while flying his bomber over Germany in WW2. And big thank you to all my fellow wolverines who have served in the military.
Large military family here;
Mother's Birthday (God rest her soul).
Our 25th Anniversary!
This could be a weekend of many Tomato Juice and Kahlua's (shaken not stirred).....
Happy M Day everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hoping by the time I hit southern MI..... about 7:30/8:00 the traffic clusterfuck heading North will be largely passed and I have smooth sailing to God's Country.
Waiting for the hello Howard Eisley post
"It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us; that, from these honored dead, we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion; that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom..." A. Lincoln
Rolling Thunder bikes all starting to roll into town (DC) for the weekend.
Salute.
It's a special day for me and always will be..Served in Vietnam as A Combat Engineer 1968/69 (14 months)..Over that course of time we lost 18 men in our Company...Today my memories of their names have faded, but the faces I will always remember...God Bless them for their ultimate sacrifice and all who lost their life in the service of our country
Great long weekend on tap, getting out at 2pm which is nice...bang, bang e’r day
Remember those who served, and go blue!
