McMurchy on Gottlieb show

In car so don't have a link. McMurchy is on the show right now. Straight up said that there is even worse stuff out there that he can't disclose for unspecified reasons.

It seems like a lot of the reaction here has to do with excitement over the prospect of Meyer getting tossed out which, I’m sure most are presuming, would ultimately lead to OSU not being as good at football. Maybe Meyer intentionally lied about knowing about the 2015 allegations, maybe he didn’t know, or maybe he’s so focused on football that all the non-football stuff about Smith got shifted into the back of his brain to the point that it seemed like longer ago to him. But any way you look at it, this doesn’t amount to a Paterno-type situation. Smith wasn’t even arrested in 2015. It’s important to remember that, while actual domestic violence is reprehensible, the fact that someone filed police report doesn’t automatically mean it happened.

...or MSU. Quite the deal eh? I'm curious to hear the MSU slappy responses to this. There has been no better job of circling the wagons than what has transpired at MSU.

Otherwise, this is really sad. While it is my belief that each of us are capable of great evil...it remains disheartening what we humans will sell our souls for.

And finally, we all have done and said things that we deeply regret and hope never comes to public light. However, here Coach Harbaugh acquits himself most wonderfully with the off-field work he is doing with his current charges...and deserves great praise for making this about more than simply the game of football...could go on and on here. Personally, I have benefitted greatly from the interscholastic athletic endeavor and believe it can be a great tool for teaching life lessons...and Jim Harbaugh deserves an A+ in this regard.

I do believe Urban coached his last game for OSU.  I was skeptical at first, but as the day goes on more and more shit is coming out.  Like Smith hiding cameras in their house to spy on her and shit.  The dude was a threat and obviously mentally unstable.  I don't see Urban and any other coach surviving this anymore.

Exactly.  This is the exact reason Title IX exists.  There are things that need to be done at an institution to protect those at the institution.  If Urban knew about someone who was probably a domestic abuser/stalker, and hid it form the higher ups, this is a clear cut Title IX violation.  Smith was definitely an abuser/stalker, the question becomes whether he knew.

While enjoying Buckeye Schadenfraude, more than one Buckeye brought up the point that he couldn't fire him if he didn't have cause (they interpret that as charges/conviction depending on the level of troglodyte), Smith could sue the university.  All of these idiots ignore the fact that he had his contract renewed in 2017 and could have been let go without needing to be fired.
