I don't see why Shep couldn't do Tigers and U-M hoops. It ain't like the Tigers will be playing in October anytime soon and even if they do FSD doesn't do any of the games. And if Michigan makes a tourney run surely he could miss a few early season baseball games.

The Tigers report for spring training in early/mid-February and Fox Sports Detroit does show a couple of those games. That would be hard to manage most likely given the two locations being far away.

That is a long ass season. Basically his only time off would be between the end of baseball and beginning of basketball season. A month or so. And it's not like he wouldn't be working in that time either. But that much travel wears on someone, especially people with families.

I listened on the IMG network on my way home from the gym and Brian does a good job. He's got a good voice and his call was very professional.
