No aggression by this offense is the biggest problem.  No one that wants to attack and force them to guard us.  Some aimless passing, not the well-oiled machine we've seen in the past and may see later in the season but haven't in the first game and a half.

So if he plays whoever is in front of him and those teams are weak then he should win more than other coaches at bigger schools. If he goes 20-15 and 25-11 in the AAC, he would be much worse in the big ten/ACC/Big 12. Uconn is a blue blood and he inherited a number of the players from the previous coach who was a legend.

I'll spell it out for you. If Michigan football played in the MAC, then they should go 8-0 every year in that conference because they have such a big advantage over the other teams in recruiting, money, prestige etc. Uconn is the big fish in the AAC besides Memphis and maybe SMU. He should only lose at most 9 games a year depending on how hard their out of conference schedule is.

I suppose it depends on how you define "blue blood". Some use it to mean "elite" but it is more commonly used to refer to aristocrats that have been around many generations.

By that definition UConn most certainly does not qualify. They have played basketball since 1901 but didn't make a final four until 1999. What they have done is finish in final games winning four titles since '99. Michigan could have done the same but unfortunately went 1-3.

I've been following M BBall since the early '70's and even before that we always recruited the top notch players from all over the country till the late '90's.

We all know what happened since that time, this is a program that was always recruiting the best of the best, not the best of the average, shit needs to change.
