Luckiest/greatest TD pass ever in Nova/Delaware today
CAA spring football: It’s fantastic

I keep replaying that "WOW!"
Love the nasally sound to it.
That absolutely looks like something that would happen against us.
(Although it looks like his wrist may have touched just as the ball is released... probably not enough to overturn.)
Of course, those Delaware helmets and color scheme.
Yeah, I know. It’s a winged helmet thing.
Kordell Stewart just dropped down a spot on the all-time luckiest list.
Too soon
Hard to see if he kicked it or not though (I’m on mobile).
I went over it pretty carefully with my laptop several times, and I don't think so. It is hard to tell, so I am not certain, but the QB seems to realize that he is going to the ground and intentionally pitches the ball up into the air in the hopes that one of his guys will come down with it, and that is indeed what happens.
Super lucky play because he did not look at where he was lobbing the ball, but nevertheless, that badly off-balance pitch was a nice feat of athleticism by the quarterback.
Scoreboard with an ad for the Pennsylvania Lottery. Better get a ticket.
What is it with winged helmets and bullshit luck going against them?
I know this isn't the point of this thread, but really?
I hope this narrative that Michigan is "cursed" and has bad luck goes away someday.
I hope the curse and bad luck go away someday...
Exactly how it was drawn up.
I like #33 on the defense’s reaction. First he’s celebrating his sack and then the “what the hell happened?”
This type of shit always happens against Michigan....oh wait nm
Whenever I see "luckiest/greatest...ever" I'm skeptical.
That play absolutely fits. I've never seen anything like it - thank you for sharing....wow!
It's lucky. It's great. It's not the Immaculate Reception.
Maize pants really do go best with the winged helmet.
I guess I didn't know that Villanova had a football team.
That’s where Howie Long went. And they won an FCS title in 09. Apparently they did investigate moving up to join the Big East around that time but decided against it.
Sorcery.
Maybe Delaware can absorb all the winged helmet bad luck.
that TD is a lot of fun. Total playground football stuff.
I like the idea of Spring Games being against other actual schools.
Can D1 do that?
Similar play from our local high school. TD pass by Michigan Economics alumnus Michael Allen....
3rd and 1 and it looks like he tossed it up for grabs. I think the better play would have been to take the sack and go for it on 4th down.
