Luck answers reporters questions about HARBAUGH

Submitted by Tbone67 on
Good morning to all the MICHIGAN faithful (MGObloggers). Just giving you a quick read and inside perspective of an ex-player and how he gives credit to HARBAUGH for molding him to be successful not only as a player but as a man.

"It sounds cliché, but (what he really taught me was) competitive edge," Luck said. "How to play quarterback, not just on the field stuff, but the off the field work description, in a sense, that a quarterback has. He's a heck of a coach."

My wife has one of those and used to use it frequently.  It always looked very strange to me when she was "cleaning out" with it.  Later on, I started to whistle the theme from "I'm a Little Tea Pot" whenever I saw she was doing it; she couldn't keep herself from laughing and would end up spraying the water on the bathroom mirror.  Marriage is priceless.

I may be missing a few, but I think only Gabbert, RGIII and Luck are starting in NFL;  Jones, Manual  and Glennon are NFL backups

Only Luck, Gabbert and RGIII are still getting playing time.

In a different way, Luck is almost as big a goofball as Harbaugh - meant as a compliment to both.  I'm not one bit surprised that he's a big advocate of Harbaugh and credits much of his success to Harbaugh.  Even though I dislike the Colts' ownership, I've always been a fan of Luck.

Holy shit that is awesome.  That's someone who loves the game.

It reminds me of when Harbaugh was mic'd for the Orange Bowl when he was coaching Stanford.

In the middle of all his ultra-competitive ranting and gymnastics, a VT player who thought he stepped out of bounds on the Stanford sidelines asks Harbaugh if he was out.  Harbaugh calmly replied "Naw, you were in."

Even though he trys to get a compeitive edge in every way possible, he has too much respect for the game to give a dishonest answer.

it's funny how the only people who complained about Harbaugh were hack writers and guys who didn't like him being bigger and more important than they were.
