It's a rivalry of runs. MSU has won three straight, we won three in a row before that, and they won five in a row before that, and we won three in a row before that. That takes us back all the way to 2013. This is what an even rivalry looks like. It's frustrating that we can't beat them every time, but that's not a realistic goal

Long-time reader, 1st time poster.  This year has brought me to the limit.  Not hear to blow sunshine.  Other than Matthews having a minor injury, we’re healthy, talented, and getting unexpected play from Iggy.  Staee has been hampered by injury.  How the hell does this happen?? I get the back and forth of rivalries (well, OSU in football aside..), but I decided to look at the history lately, guess going back to when Izzo was hired and it’s not as rosy as expected.  Staee has won 30 out of 42 in that span. That is bad.  8 of past 11, too.  Only record that looks somewhat OK is Belein is 9-14.  Trying to be positive but feel they are great when they have upper-class men and just rely on some freshman to be role players, not when they have a couple underclasmen like Bridges and Jackson to rely on.  Seems Izzo is going back to basics and it’s wirking.  They will be a huge thorn next year.

Ugh.

That’s getting old, too.  We sound weak saying that.  We also racked-up wins against them when they had JLS, Bobby Williams, etc.  not sure why we play that game. We’re taking about 25 years of b-ball dominance and a decade of football.

Jordan Poole can be tough to watch. And unfortunately the heavy duty stats probably say that his shot selection isn't any worse than Matthews' shot selection. Ouch.

I do wonder why Michigan can't run the same pick-roll-dish that kept getting McQuaid open threes.

think a lot of that has to do with the fact that defenders can sag off of Simpson (which they can't do with Winston) cause of his lack of an outside shot and because of that it's hard to create open three point looks.

Cassius Winston is a stud. Without him, UM wins all 3 games.  He was that good for MSU.

On to the NCAA tournament where this UM team could go far.  No kidding here, but MSU and UM could meet again this post season.  Go Blue !!!

The foul they called on Poole when Mcquaid pump faked and then threw himself into Poole and didnt even shot the dam ball should have notbeen 3 shots let alone a foul,  he initiated the contact.    That still pisses me offf.
