At one time Nebraska was a top force in recruiting states like NJ, TX and CA.

No more.

Need to bring back power football and the option to Nebraska.

One of the predictable consequences of leaving the Big 12 and joining the BIG was decreasing their pull in TX. Parents in TX think nothing of driving up to Lincoln—not to mention other locations closer to TX—to watch their kids play in Big 12 territory, but that's a far different task than getting to Ann Arbor or W. Lafayette or Happy Valley.

We're 3-0 and ranked #7 in the country.  Yes, our red zone offense isn't tearing it up at the moment, but as we saw repeatedly during the 2007-14 period, things could be a lot worse.

All this sturm and drang is ridiculous. Most of the board was predicting 9-3 or 10-2 before the season. We are three wins along that path and everyone is freaking out. It's like winning that first game and having everyone boost their expectations was a curse or something.
