Even though this offense is meh as you say right now, if they get it going up to their potential, they will make last years offense look like nothing. I honestly believe that this team has better skilled and athletic players at every new starter position. You can argue that all you want but look at it for a second and honestly tell me I'm wrong. I think you'll find that you are wrong.

While we're comparing our circumstances to other programs... A lot of people that frequent this blog have a real hard on for offense and QB play. UCLA has a top shelf one, is ranked, and is currently losing to Memphis 48-45. If that garbage hold doesn't bring back Isaac's TD run, and 1 busted coverage doesn't happen, we beat an AF team that is tough to prepare for and plays just about everyone tough 33-6. I'll take our team 10 times outta 10.

Mike Riley just needs to retire from coaching football. Enjoy your remaining years. 40 years of sucking at your job should be enough to show you that it's time to hang 'em up.

Never in my life time have I see a worse N team. I'm done

In our house with a b/ up QB!
I'm done defending Riley & his staff. Time for them to go.
Somewhere, Pelini is smiling & cashing big checks. Rant over, done.

How much are we paying them to kick our ass?

sad. Just really, really sad. We have become the Iowa State of the Big Ten

Godfrey is a hack but he's made a point on PAPN that I think is true: they we're ahead of everyone in training in the 80s.  Now that they aren't, what is their reason to be good?  It's 1000x harder to recruit to Lincoln than Ann Arbor, and they don't have a "thing."

The primary fault lies with Drevno.  He's the OC, and his play calling is predicative and not innovative.  Then the fault lies with Speight and our RBs.  Stop blaming our O-line.  Their pass protection for WS was solid and had the playcalling been better, they would have looked like they did in the Florida game.
