heck, anything beyond the 20, I'd almost rather Speight go for the endzone...but didn't he have this problem last year which was why Harbaugh kept going to the Pepcat when we were in the red zone?

We had the #1 scoring offense in the B1G last year. The fact that this is remembered as "meh" underscores how hard it is for U-M to meet these expectations. A lot of the talent on that offense from last year is in the NFL now.

Our redzone offense was MUCH better last year. I expected the team to score TDs whenever it got close to the goal line. Nothing to justify such expectations this year, so far.

Even though this offense is meh as you say right now, if they get it going up to their potential, they will make last years offense look like nothing. I honestly believe that this team has better skilled and athletic players at every new starter position. You can argue that all you want but look at it for a second and honestly tell me I'm wrong. I think you'll find that you are wrong.

Their coach is done now. Best thing for B1G is for them to hire a top notch coach.

I knew it would only be a matter of time for Riley to mess it up, even worse than Pellini. He did next to nothing at Oregon State.
Frost, even after only one year at UCF, will be it, likely at the end of the season. And he will be perfect for that place.

Happy to get out of that game with a W and no knee injuries. Though...hoping Issac is okay.

Mike Riley just needs to retire from coaching football. Enjoy your remaining years. 40 years of sucking at your job should be enough to show you that it's time to hang 'em up.
Never in my life time have I see a worse N team. I'm done
In our house with a b/ up QB!
I'm done defending Riley & his staff. Time for them to go.
Somewhere, Pelini is smiling & cashing big checks. Rant over, done.
How much are we paying them to kick our ass?
sad. Just really, really sad. We have become the Iowa State of the Big Ten

Godfrey is a hack but he's made a point on PAPN that I think is true: they we're ahead of everyone in training in the 80s. Now that they aren't, what is their reason to be good? It's 1000x harder to recruit to Lincoln than Ann Arbor, and they don't have a "thing."

The primary fault lies with Drevno. He's the OC, and his play calling is predicative and not innovative. Then the fault lies with Speight and our RBs. Stop blaming our O-line. Their pass protection for WS was solid and had the playcalling been better, they would have looked like they did in the Florida game.

Watch it. You'll learn why Nebraska is Nebraska-like from the roots up. Fortunately there is only one Nebraska.
