I didn't hear a word from RG3 the entire game. My dad and I muted the TV and turned the radio on to Doug Karsch and Jon Jansen. They were good.
Karsch doesn't scream, "Touchdown Michigan!!!!" like Frank Beckman and Brandstatter. But he and Jansen had good chemistry together.

The only problem I have with doing this is sometimes the radio feed is a few seconds ahead of the broadcast. I like to mute it and then workout or just listen to something else. At this point in my life, the announcers don't really add anything to the game.

Downvote for you. There are some shit callers out there but I can’t get on board with this take. I had no problem with RG3 today and actually enjoyed him sharing his view of things.

Thought he had some funny, touchy lines.
Overall game call was fine. Just let him wade into touchy PR territory.

My son had a football game today and I was watching through the game thread and “the score” app. I have never seen so many comments about an announcer.
when I saw Tho Ragnarok (one of my favorite movies) with my kids I was very disappointed at the Orgy jokes in there.
can’t wait to see a full replay to see what I think. Orji:Orgy jokes are really funny on the message board but probably not on ABC Saturday afternoon.

Weird, I thought he was fun and refreshing. Think he has a bright future. Meanwhile, while I usually like him, Fowler has been brutal tonight. Went all Gus Johnson on an OSU touchdown catch, even though it was very clearly incomplete. Then had no excitement at all for an insane juggled five times circus interception... except it wasn't an interception, it was just a completed pass.

Actually, I was impressed for a guy just starting out. He was pretty good and better than most. Just one wink to Orji's name would have been sufficient though. More out of respect to Orji's family than anyone else's though.

I was not impressed by his commentating at all. It could have been nerves or something. I really don’t care about the Orji comments. It didn’t bother me. I just felt like maybe he was really nervous and trying very hard to pretend that he wasn’t. I am hopeful that he will get better the next time.

He was okay to me, until he made the comment about the student section women looking like they were ready to get married tonight. Shaming and definitely not pro women. Couple that with his inability lay of the Orji joke. One time okay, but it seemed childish eventually.

I thought RGIII was great. Not good, but great.
I hope to hear him announce many more games.
However good a thing is, there will be about 25% of people who don't like it.
Also, about 25% of people don't have a sense of humor.

RGIII was fine. I thought "Orji in the end zone" was funny but this has already been joked about, in various forms, on this board so much that I was pretty numb to it. That said, I would love to see Jake Butt get a shot at color commentary very soon.
