Just met Trey Burke
Trey Burke signed autographs tonight at the Champs Sports in Times Square. There were hundreds of fans on line, so he wasn't able to spend much time with each guest. But he was very nice and respectful. When I asked him to sign a maize and blue shoe on which I have other MBB player signatures, he recognized those and laughed and also complimented my shoe. Also, whenever anyone asked him what he's heard about who is going to pick him, he pretty much punted on the question; he's been well coached.
Who are the other guys who signed the shoe?
I miss our last tourney run. That was a good time.
Post pics next time...
Cool story bro!
Word.
Was he surrounded by ovulating, helplessly attracted women?
so you were there...tell us a cool story bro/bra?
Livejournal.com bro.
Do people really expect that walking up to Trey Burke in an autograph line will culminate in him telling them where he's going to be picked? I mean, honestly.
had a good laugh visualizing this one. Well done.
(Not being snarky.) A friend was in town and biking, and when I called to check in she said they were Times Square and "it was so crowded!" I thought, "Well, duh. It's Times Square on a sunny summer afternoon." But considering said friend is a big Michigan fan... Had she only known!
All due respect to Burke but I wouldn't walk through Times Square on a day like today to meet Jesus H. Christ.
I went to Times Square once. There will be no second time.
She wouldn't have walked throughTimes Square either, so I was dumbfounded that she had biked there. Turns out her biking companion had an important errand to do in the area and she didn't even know where she was until it was too late. Rush hour, sunny day, mobs of summer tourists at the TKTS booth, AND Trey Burke.
assume it was part of the NBA Draft orgnized activities, no charge to the public to wait in line and snag an autograph...

Picture, or it did not happen?
Did you ask him if he asked Darius Morris for any tips on how to succeed in the NBA?
He was a second round pick, what did you expect?
I can't read the score on the TV, but I'd recognize that smirk on Beileins face anywhere. That has to be the grin from the Kansas game, right after Tre hit that crazy shot. After that shot, even Coach Beilein had to smile a little...thinking--Holy shit, did that really just happen?!!
Kansas game ended late over here on the east side of things.
in the rainy WA.
I think perfectly illustrates how we all felt after that game. Rapture kid
Cool story, although to be honest I don't really get the appeal of lining up to "meet" a guy for 30 seconds and have him write his name somewhere.
