One note: Ross talks about the corner depth at the 3:27 mark.  Talked a lot about Ambry Thomas and mentioned he’s been practicing for about a week, and Ross says “He’s back full go.”  Obviously take with a grain of salt. Just always interesting to hear the players takes on injuries rather than coaches.

As a fellow Ulcerative Colitis sufferer I'm SO glad to hear that Ambry is going to get back on the field this season and is getting some real hype!

UC can vary in severity but when it flares up it really can shut a person down.

I don't have UC, but I have had a fairly closely related inflammatory intestinal disorder, and my basic take is that almost anything can cause a flare-up, and almost anything can not cause a flare-up. It's really unpredictable except for a very lucky small number of patients who can find cause and effect in their symptoms.

What I can say is that a flare-up is effectively totally debilitating, especially because it's also often co-morbid with fatigue symptoms. On my worst days, I genuinely couldn't do anything but lie in bed and hope I would fall asleep so I didn't have to experience the pain directly for awhile.

Wish I could disagree with this but I don't see how.  DT was not strong last year and it's mostly the same guys back.  If Dwumfour made a leap, that would be huge, but has been hampered by an injury all off season.

I go back to the Florida game last year and worry that that is what we can expect against better teams on defense this year.

Ross makes it sound like the guys doing bridge program (school first two weeks of football camp) are also in football camp, practicing.

It was recently said that Hill was in the bridge program so not practicing at camp. I guess DB said he had only been at 5 practices (or something). Timestamp not known.

-Starved for football.

Josh Ross can play and there's no denying it. I watch a fair amount of Michigan football throughout each season to compare them with Ohio State, and Ross really impressed me in 2018. He also looked quite good as a full-time starter against Florida when Bush sat out.

I fully expect Ross to do an admirable job replacing Bush, even though that's not an easy task. I'm not too sure what to expect from your D-ends replacing Gary and Winovich though, but I wouldn't mind hearing some predictions because you all obviously know your roster better than I do.
