The last time a Michigan QB beat a future NFL Hall of Fame QB was Rick Leach.

I am 69 years old. He could quite handily be the best in my lifetime. Nobody has the mobility and arm talent combination-the game-changing ability that JJ is showing.

Agree with this. I’m 50.

Denard Robinson
Drew Henson is also an acceptable answer, but Robinson came to mind first.

I’ve been watching Michigan football since 1978. I’ve never seen a talent like JJ. I think he could be the best ever.

Cade McNamara was never a great QB.
Sometimes teams win with avg QB’s.

He could be the best QB since we all witnessed an Orji in the endzone.

Drew Henson, winning in the Shoe in 2000.
Honorable mention: Chad Henne, in the 2007 season Cap One bowl / Lloyd's last game.

JJ McCarthy. I think he writes his own ticket into the record books and he establishes a new legacy of remarkable scoring efficiency and perhaps a new record for most TD passes in a season. I've not seen a more dynamically efficient Michigan offense than what he directed Saturday night.

To me he's a Henne-lite arm on Denard-lite legs
