Jim Harbaugh will be in Norfolk tomorrow

He will attend the commissioning of the "supercarrier," USS Gerald R. Ford. The ship will be christened by former first daughter and ship sponsor Susan Ford Bales. Also in attendance, POTUS, SECDEF, VA Governor and about 10,000 others. The Michigan connection is obvious. Go Blue!! https://pilotonline.com/news/military/local/navy-to-commission-uss-gera…

I landed in Norfolk last night and the dock looked like it was ready for a massive celebration today. There are four carriers in port right now, and it's an amazing sight to see all of that power. Luckily it was the captains leg, so I got to peek out the window a bit. Unfortunately it's my leg back to New York T 1530, so we will probably run into flow control with the dignitaries leaving.

of the USS Michigan is a wooden maize and blue plaque with "Those who stay will be champions" engraved on it. It would be cool if something similar showed up on the USS Ford. Perhaps "The team, the team, the team"?
